There’s some statement being made here about the cost of gas prices versus the joys of having a child, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.

If that’s gasoline, I can kinda understand, stuff’s damned expensive right now…
Ekaterina Sforza: You may take my child from me, but I have the means to produce 10 more sons (said while lifting her skirt and exposing the aristocratic vag), whileObama will not allow me to produce more petroleum based fuel. So keep the damn kid! (exaggerated for dramatic effect)
Bill Cosby: I brought you into this world, and I can take you out. So you can go to college, or I can drive you to your playdate…which is it gonna be? (paraphrased from memory)
Given the Aurora PD’s less than stellar relationship with the truth and the nanny-statism of Colorado in general and Aurora in particular, I’d like to see independent verification.
Especially given that the alleged gas can is not secured into the car seat and there is a pillow where the child’s feet would be to keep them from hitting the drivers seat
For many years, seat belts were not mandatory for any age. Heck, when I was a young’n (back in the late 60s), I used to move all about the cabin while my dad was driving. I even sat on his lap and steered! I’m curious how many children died from that, as opposed to now, where we have mandatory seat belt laws.
I’m not disagreeing that it is far safer for everyone – especially kids – to be buckled up. But the reaction CDT seems a bit, shall we say, hyperbolic?
