I had the same initial reaction. Upon reflection, I’d probably say it’s more like the end of America. We’re fast becoming the European States of America. The UK has basically had an unlimited Parliamentary authority for some time now, and their civilization, while certainly in a marked state of decline, has not yet fallen off a cliff.
I’d say it just shows how screwed we are.
Getting rid of Obamacare would only slow the end a tittle.
Of course, having the SC say that the Constitution does not restrict the gov’t really, really sucks.
All I can think is that Roberts has something Bigger in mind in years ahead than this stupid ruling on Obamacare. The fact that he didn’t get any other justices to go along leaves this without precedent setting rules.
We need to move the frigging Capitol away from the East Coast. I still like Butte, MT, in tyhe bottom of a Copper Pit, so we can keep them all in our sights, literally.
