I’m getting irritated with the endless drone, “forward”. Yes, while “forward” has a special connotation of Marxism, as Jonah Goldberg points out it fits the generic “Progressive” mindset.
Still, Marxist terminology has infected our political language and mindset in ways that are not always obvious.
