It’s really not even a close call if you think about it.
Romney has the chance to pick a VP with the following bio:
Rhodes scholar (-turned down Harvard Med and Yale Law), twice elected governor, two-term Congressman, former Assistant Secretary of HHS. He was Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, where he managed 40% of the state’s budget and turned a $400M deficit into a $200M surplus… at age 24.
Oh, and he’s all of 41 years old now.
What’s the biggest criticism of Jindal? He’s boring. A little on the wonky side.
Isn’t that exactly what Romney needs? Jindal is simultaneously the most exciting and most boring possibility being discussed. The guy oozes competence.
Competence with a specialty in public health policy, Romney’s weak point.

Why do you think he’s boring? I don’t. (but I have a history of liking geeky guys, so…)
I guess wonky was closer to what I was going for.
But do you remember his SOTU response speech?
Still not boring. He’s hawt.
All of what you said.
I’m still betting wymyn.
I’ve been thinking about this and the only conclusion I’ve come to is I’m glad it’s not my decision.
