I’m getting too into stuff, I need to get back to my usual, making fun of WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!!
Let’s see how I do!
First up, Welcome to the Party Pal.
The senator (McCaskill V), who has complained about the TSA’s security techniques in the past, tweeted that she was selected for a pat-down and that the experience was not a pleasant one.
Awwwwwww. I feel for her. Rather, I feel for her getting felt up like the rest of us. Nobody likes a reach-around without being called the next day.
Fast and Furious: The Gift That Keeps On Killing! Some cartels decided to battle it out in a border town.
Fear and panic filled the streets of Reynosa on Sunday night as rival gunmen battled during a three-hour firefight that saw automatic weapons and grenades used.
Then they get to the funny.
Surprisingly, Mexican authorities were absent for most of the melee.
Two things, surprising to whom and which side did you think they’d come in on?
So the opposition in Venezuela is worrying the Thugs In Chief.
I think the word “nervous” best describes the reaction of Cabello and Maduro to the announcement of Henrique Capriles Radonski last night that he’s going to run against the usurper Maduro for the presidency.
Which leads to another one of those “Exporting Our Values” things.
Opposition candidate Henrique Capriles tried to register to run for president today but was blocked from entering the election board by Chavez-Maduro supporters.
Hmmm, getting your opponents out of the race via slimy means. Just like Obama!
Ed Miliband was hoping to sit down with David Cameron and Nick Clegg later on Tuesday or Wednesday to agree a historic new deal which would see newspapers regulated like the BBC.
O’Brien is earning his lavish lifestyle.
But while Obama is thinking of ways to revive the stalled peace talks, Palestinian activists say they are planning a “warm” welcome for him when he visits Ramallah or any other Palestinian city in the West Bank.
One plan being discussed among Palestinian activists includes staging anti-US demonstrations in Palestinian cities, particularly outside the place Obama is scheduled to meet with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
See, they’re big on putting bombs on women and children, so how does the Secret Service guarantee Obama’s safety? They can’t. So how does Obama handle the fact that his Partners For Peace (non-pashtun-boy-fucking-savages but still savage edition) are going to try to kill him? I figure he’ll cancel parts of his trip and blame it on Israel.
I mean, he’s going to blame all the bad stuff on Israel no matter what, it’s just what he’s going to do before doing it that’s confusing me.
Relatedly, we see some more Tolerant Peaceful Cries For Death To
A controversy has been re-ignited this week as ten new ads go up on San Francisco Muni buses containing quotes used by terrorists.
“Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah,” reads one of the ads, which has people debating the line between free speech and hate speech.
I’ll help them figure it out. It’s always free speech when it’s Death To Israel or America, it’s hate-speech when you notice them saying it.
So Syria resembles Somalia?
“As I’ve said several times, the Syrian crisis has to be solved through a political compromise, as the situation resembles closely — and perhaps even more than — to that of Somalia a few years ago,”
No, it doesn’t. Somalia had nothing even resembling a strong, central gov’t. It’s been warlords for decades, so any comparison is just trying to give EUnuchs an excuse for not doing anything. “Don’t want another Mogadishu!” after all.
Nice Deb has a decent post about Republican congresscritters getting upset with Obama’s, “Let’s release criminals to prey on America just like my good friend Castro” deal with lots of links.
Most of the first hour was spent talking about ICE’s shocking and “bizarre” decision to release illegal immigrant prisoners:
Scaring us by releasing illegal immigrant criminals — “REALLY, Mr. President? Really?!” Kobach thundered.“This is a brazen abuse of power”, he said. “They crossed the line.”
“This is impeachment stuff!”
“You do not release dangerous criminals to make a point…”
Bwahahahaah, yes he does. Geez, this is the man who sold guns to Mexican cartels to gin up a “controversy” to take my guns. Pay attention!
Let’s see how they do. I figure nothing will come of this. Obama’s contempt for Congress probably exceeds mine. And that’s saying something.
I saw this story elsewhere, but I’m linking this story at the Fire Andrea Mitchell blog cuz.
Well, they did it. Colorado State Senate Democrats have spit out 5 gun control bills, which will limit citizens rights to their second amedmnednt. LArge magazine clips will now be banned, and limits gun ammunition magazines to 15 rounds. Also included in the Democrat gunn control jihad is a new background check requirement AND fee. Guns.com via KUSA-TV, has an updated list of what Colorado Democrats have done with their gun grab:
Now I have to wonder if Magpul wants an out-of-work patent examiner/teacher when they move to AZ.
Remember when Judicial Watch was going after Bush, Ashcroft and co. and they were “non-partisan”? Yeah, that’s going to change in a big way.
Judicial Watch announced today that it has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of State seeking access to “all videos and photographs” depicting the Benghazi, Libya, Consulate between September 10 and September 13, 2012, the period leading up to, during, and immediately following the deadly attack that took the life of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. Judicial Watch filed its lawsuit on February 25, 2013 (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:13-cv-00242)). This is one of three Benghazi FOIA lawsuits being pursued by Judicial Watch.
That’s against the 11-24th Commandments, Thou shalt not dis Obama! (repeated 14 times)
I liked Paul Ryan until he joined Romney and shut up. When your power is more important than your principles, I tend to not give a shit about you. I’m not sure how true this is, but for what it’s worth a complete Puppy Blender post.
UPDATE: Prof. Stephen Clark emails: “Ryan’s budget proposal is no more serious than the budget being fronted by Senate Democrats. Both are merely aspirational and entirely political. When will either party get serious? Probably not until the voting public makes a decision about what it wants. Until then, it will be CR’s and continued drift. Hard as it may be to believe, much less accept, an insufficient number of citizens believes that there is a problem requiring that they, as individuals, give up anything. Until then it will be circuses – anything to avoid discussions of finance. This is the true legacy of the Bernanke era.”
None of them are serious.
They can’t be, the can has been kicked so far down the road that picking it up will be nearly impossible without drastic actions that will cause the Takers who think they deserve my money to get pissed off (Dear DHS/War On Americans study group from the previous post, that’s a far more likely scenario for insurrection)
Jay at MArooned has a story that shows that you don’t need a gun, the police are there to help you!
So, let’s recap. This woman had an abusive husband. There had been repeated 911 calls regarding him and violent behavior. The call comes in, she can be heard pleading with another person, and yet this still isn’t given priority. Woman with a violent ex, repeated calls, no urgency relayed. Responding officers show up when they’re in the area nearly an hour later – and leave. Now, maybe she was still alive at that point. Maybe she was dead seconds after the call was completed.
See? She had a restraining order she needed to rely on and instead she got all violently defensive. It was her own fault for choosing that man. Listen, if you’re going to need a restraining order on a guy in the future, you probably shouldn’t date him. That’s just elementary.
Good news from This Ain’t Hell and something that should be advertised.
DPMO has announced the identification of four more US personnel previously MIA in past conflicts.
Over 7,900 US personnel remain unaccounted for from the Korean War, and over 73,600 remain unaccounted for from World War II. If you are a relative of one of the individuals listed here (Korea) or listed here (World War II – critical need), please consider reading this link to see if you qualify to submit a mtDNA sample – and if you do qualify, please do so. By doing so, you may be able to help identify US remains that have been repatriated but not yet positively identified.
Everybody deserves a proper burial. That’s especially true for those who gave their all in the service of this nation.
Amen. That has to be hard on their relatives, not knowing is the worst kind of hell. (so maybe that part of the post should not be at This Ain’t Hell, but since you can see Hell from there, I’ll let them slide)
People make fun of me when I say this, but I think the only way we’re ever going to be able to provide good healthcare to all is when it’s done by machines and not people.
Such a scenario is becoming increasingly possible thanks to the developing field of medical robotics and the increasing use of robots in surgical procedures. By using robots, surgeons can perform complex operations more easily and precisely, and in a less invasive way that improves results for patients.
Your rights cannot require others to work for you as that’s slavery, but if we could get machines to handle it, that would make it possible for all to get good care.
Join other citizens as you report and find Gun Free Zones throughout the United States. Whether you want to shop in gun free zones as often as possible or avoid them altogether, this app will help you shop, play, and do business with like-minded people.
Yeah, and it helps people who like to take guns into gun-free zones where they’ll know they’re the only armed ones.
Via Eric we see a metaphor.
Sometimes you’re the tire, sometimes you’re the elephant’s trunk (that’s shoved into a pile of elephant shit at the end)
