What did he know and when did he know it?

The former justice minister who accused Moammar Qaddafi of ordering the Lockerbie bombing not only has managed to avoid having his head roll, he’s been chosen as the provisional leader of the Libyan government.

Is Libya trading (an actively evil version of) Louis XVI for Robespierre?  I have to wonder if Mustafa Abdel-Jalil knew and approved of the Lockerbie bombing at the time and is only coming forward now because Qaddafi is on his way out.  Unfortunately, this question must be asked of anyone who took part in the Libyan government, and I doubt anyone who has held a position of any note in Libya has completely clean hands.
