Making Cowboys cry.

So last week they eliminated the Eagles (by winning) and this week they eliminate the Cowboys. No matter what happens next week, I’ll always have the last two weeks.

Congratulations on the Giants victory. Looking at those pictures is a painful reminder of how mediocre the Cowboys are. It is long past time for Jerry Jones to stop fooling himself over the team’s (lack of) talent level. I’m most impressed by Eli and the clutch work he does.
On my side, our defense is horrible. Tony Romo had a monster season (102.6 QB rating). But he doesn’t play defense (Hell, the guys who do play defense don’t really play defense either).
I know anything can happen once the playoffs start. But I will say that you should enjoy this victory. It’s possible you can beat Atlanta next week. But the chances of you guys getting past Green Bay, San Francisco or New Orleans (on the road) are slim to none. Yes, the Giants beat Dallas tonight. But Dallas is an 8-8 team. It’s not like you beat a good team.
But congrats, anyway. You guys deserved it.
I don’t think it’s 07 again, but I’ll take it.
Jerry Jones’ biggest problem is that he thinks he’s a football genius and keeps hiring head coaches named, “Yes Mr.Jones”. Jimmy Johnson had the balls to tell him to stick it and that’s why he was gone even though he made them winners.
I have to admit, I’d love to be in Jerry Jones’ and Daniel Snyder’s fantasy football league, they suck at it.
While Romo is a darn good QB, he’s not a winner when it counts. He’s “almost” good enough every year. Long may they keep him.

^^^This, to the 32nd power and eleven orders of magnitude, plus infinity.
I have to be honest. I love Jerry Jones as an owner. I hate Jerry Jones as a General Manager. But there is no denying his passion for winning. And while Jimmy Johnson did win those Super Bowls (Barry Switzer won one with Jimmy’s players), Jerry did have a lot to do with it.
As for Romo, it’s hard to say he’s not a winner. Unfortunately, he hasn’t had the talent around him to make a serious threat to win a Super Bowl. Heck, it took Payton Manning 8 years to win one and Dan Marino never won one.
I believe with a better offensive line and a true defense, Romo (who had a 102.6 rating this season) will win multiple rings.
The funny thing is, as much as I don’t like the Giants (because of the division rivalry), it pales so much in comparison to how Cowboy fans feel about the Redskins and the Eagles. I wonder why that is?
Probably for the same reason I don’t hate the Foreskins as much as the Cowboys, because when the Giants are good, the skins haven’t been;.
It’s hard to hate a team you beat like a drum.
The drum on the other hand……..
I hate the Eagles because of their fans. They’re the worst in the country. They’re violent assholes.
Agree 100%!
