Nothing special.  Just the first one.  A guy has to clean out his browser bookmarks every once in a while, ya know…

(1) The Obama DOJ convinced a federal judge that black people are too stupid to vote without being told which party a candidate belongs to.  That’s how I’m reading this anyway.  Not sure how to read it otherwise.

(2) In more DOJ fun, Justice uses funny math to fight voter-ID laws.  For the cause, of course. Ends… means…

(3) 59% of Liberal Democrats have a favorable view of socialism.

(4) Does the “Republican Establishment” exist? I say yes, but it’s most active at the state levels, where they can push through quite a few candidates with minimal resistance.  To the extent that there is a national “establishment”, the only power they seem to have is the ability to bitch things up really well.

(5) Obama/Dem “intelligence” two-fer: (a) A slightly old post at AoSHQ about Obama’s “epistemic closure” (to use the popular but flawed expression)… and (b) A Michael Barone piece from around the same time making a similar point.  The money shot:

What we have here, it seems a president who has no serious interest in public policy. He has spent nearly half his 15 years in public office running for other public office. The only difference now is that, having run out of higher offices to run for, he is just running for reelection instead. Those who pride themselves on belonging to the party of smart people should be embarrassed.

(6) The evidence grows that sugar sucks and protein is where it’s at.

(7) StarCraft II is awesome… for brain researchers.
