I saw a good chunk of the episode yesterday. My Lord, these people are delusional.
Afterwards I started looking around online for stories about the incident, and on one of the blogs the aunt of Amy left a comment talking about how Amy wasn’t always like this — it wasn’t until she met her husband Samy (who she claims is abusive — as in “if she leaves me I’ll leave her out in the desert with a bullet in her head” abusive) that she became this defensive. If true, it’s really sad.
