Iran to start next phase of talks with IAEA soon.
Iranian nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi said the first phase of talks with the UN nuclear watchdog will be finished by early February,
At least they’ve decided on the shape of the table for the next round of talks to decide the agenda for the next round of talks.
Think I’m joking?
In that second phase, Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency need to hammer out a clear framework on how to continue their cooperation.
Sigh. I didn’t even need to read to the end to write that, I wrote it and then looked in the story for the second quote.
Forgot this. No story of murderous dictators is complete with EUnuchs kneeling and bobbing.
Two days of talks in Geneva between Iranian and EU negotiators on implementing a landmark deal on Tehran’s nuclear program “made very good progress on all the pertinent issues,” Michael Mann, a spokesman for EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, told AFP.
“This is now under validation at [the] political level in capitals,” he added. Negotiators have said they wanted to implement the deal, which aims to rein in Tehran’s nuclear program in exchange for some sanctions relief, by January 20.
Iranians say they’ll be ready to continue talks in a couple months, EUnuchs think they’ll have a deal in a week or two.
