Not so much IMPORTANT!!! as Interesting Update below.
The feds want to teach us unhelpful types who’s in charge as we are trying to remind them of the same.
In Texas, Return of the Jedi
Texas officials are raising alarm that the Bureau of Land Management, on the heels of its dust-up with Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, might be eyeing a massive land grab in northern Texas.
The under-the-radar issue has caught the attention of Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, who fired off a letter on Tuesday to BLM Director Neil Kornze saying the agency “appears to be threatening” the private property rights of “hard-working Texans.”
Good for them. Texas should have known they’d lose respect when they allowed Matt Damon to play a Texas Ranger, now they need to reaffirm that you don’t want to mess with Texas.
While in Nevada, the Empire wants to strike back.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says “something is going to happen” to get Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy to stop letting his cattle graze on federal land.
What a fuckhead. “Something will happen”, huh? Will no one rid him of this turbulent rancher?
He’s fresh off declaring people who disagree with his buddies getting some land as “domestic terrorists“.
I’m not exactly sure what the hell is going on in Nevada except it’s pretty obvious the feds are trying to push hard and Americans are pushing back. Peacefully as Americans are wont to do when they aren’t faced with violence but the feds appear to not be happy about the non-violent stuff. They have all these SWAT teams just sitting there, gotta SWAT someone.
It’s seemed obvious for a quite a while now that Obama and co. are fomenting something so they can come down hard on Tea Party Terrorist types and other average Americans.
I know who I’m rooting for.
The asteroid.
In trying to answer Kalvacade Krew’s question, I came across this link with some interesting questions
It raises quite a few questions. Is civil disobedience and passive resistance the only way to fight back against the Obama Regime’s tyrannical reflexes? How many Battles of Bundy Hill can there be before the defenders shoot first, giving the feds the propaganda narrative they so clearly seek? Or have they learned their lesson about the efficacy of quietly bleeding ranchers dry in lieu of American Tiananmens? And in the latter case, how can civil disobedience be mounted in such a way as to draw favorable public attention, particularly when the media is an arm of the White House?
Interesting questions all.
Especially the last one. When the media is on the side of the powerful against Teh Peepul, well, Teh Peepul are screwed, blued and tattooed.

Do you happen to know the citation for the 1986 case that the Texas rancher lost?
Nope.
I tried finding it but since I don’t have access to westlaw or any of the other law-talking databases I couldn’t look too hard.
All the links I found led back to the Breitbart link, I did find a bunch of interesting reads including the one in the update.
Yeah, I looked also. Can’t find anything by the landowners name.
Gonna go look at Cornell I guess.
I liked the idea that the Texas AG told the BML to go pound sand up their ass (More
like you want it? Come and get it!) This dust up in Southern Nevada is not that new,
a decade or so ago, the BLM got so out of control (New Mexico I think) that a lot of their
vehicles were firebombed,
People do not like abuse of authority. You will see a lot more of this in the future!
And that’s scary, especially with Minitrue there to tell people in other places how it’s all domestic terrorists causing problems while helping keep the gov’t from being held accountable.
