Veeshir Vearless Vrediction

Posted: June 10, 2014 by veeshir in GOP FAIL, GOP Win!, Notes on the Revolution

The GOP establishment will go full bore, with Minitrue helping them, to explain how the tea party guy who beat Cantor is “unelectable”.

Attempting to make a self-fulfilling prophecy, in other words.

There will be little dissection of why a guy with almost no money beat the second ranking GOP member of the House.

I will be surprised if the NRSC does not get involved on the Dem’s side.

Yes, I know they’re the Senate establishment pricks, that’s my point.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!!!!

Well, not really that important, just kinda funny.

Wow: Cantor Outspent Brat $993K To $76K In Final Seven Weeks…

D’oh!

  1. I agree completely with the prediction that Bubbling Boehner will fall on his sword for the powers that be and try to ram amnesty through. Politicians who serve Washington no longer NEED to stay in Washington. They can retire with MILLIONS funneled their way and live a life of ease. It used to be that being sent home meant something. Not anymore….as long as you’ve served the interests of Washington.

  2. veeshir says:

    Bingo.

They’re all doing stuff to make them money while they’re in office and when they leave.

    Screw the rest of us.

  3. Lemur King says:

Your points are taken. They may leave soon, and good riddance, if far too late.

All of the sudden the news is full of the downfall of the tea party and such-and-such poll shows them waning.

Really? What I see is a whole lot of people who are going to find that giving the country goods, services, rights to illegals really leaves them feeling more than a bit pissed off. I don’t like the idea of adding still more people to take my taxes for their well-being.

    • Yeah. They keep this up and they will do more to convert brain-dead liberals than ANY argument the right could ever make. Like the idiot in Austin who was STUNNED to learn that she had to pay for all the nice goodies she had voted for. When liberals figure out that letting illegals with no education and low job skills means PAYING extra in taxes and reducing their own standard of living, they are going to be pissed.

      • veeshir says:

Yeah, but are we too boned for it to do any good?

We’re so far in debt and you can’t even cut the rate of the increase in the budget so we’re looking at $trillion+ deficits as far as the eye can see.

I would like to see how much money the world owes each other right now. I’d bet it’s more money than there is.

  4. Oh we are decidedly boned. But when it all comes tumbling down, I’m hoping that the illusions of the left will be shattered and more people will be honestly prepared to start digging in and fixing things instead of whining. It’s not going to be pretty or easy or fun. But it will be necessary.

And yes, the debt of nations exceeds ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD. So that’s fun…

  5. Wandering Neurons says:

Veeshir, good to see you back online!
In re Brat’s primary election win: The first step in training an animal (such as Congress) is proving to the animal that you have the attitude and will to enforce a change. Showing that attitude to our Elected Officials is a first step, and that the Tea Party, in all of its forms, is a growing force, in spite of everyone’s predictions and predilections.
IOW: We the People have a voice and a vote, and We do not approve of how you represent us.

  6. veeshir says:

I’ve been thinking of when we are and I think I’ve figured out one of the things that’s going to happen.

We’ll get some people elected who will try to ‘fix’ what’s going on so when it all comes crashing down, they’ll be blamed for it.

We cannot easily or even with difficulty fix where we are.
Too many tens of millions of people think they’re owed my money, too much of the media, including Foxnews, thinks that a cut to the increase is too much to even contemplate.

So the juggernaut that is the final crashing of our economy is unstoppable.

What happens when reality ‘fixes’ the problem we’re in is going to be the interesting part.
What the military does when the gov’t collapses is going to be the most interesting thing.
