Seriously, an Army 1st Sgt was so upset by an intertubes chat room that she ran to an officer to complain about her hurt feelings and got an Army Commendation Medal for it.
Now, if long ago when they were opening up the military to women (non WAVE/WAC edition), and I told someone that they would be handing out medals to women who run to an officer because they are upset about mean things being said to her, well, I would have been called all manner of names.
