Poroshenko said the army successfully repelled the attack “of Russian soldiery” and had to use artillery to keep a town under Ukraine’s control. Poroshenko said they warned the European leaders that Minsk accords (cease fire with Russia, link by me V) were violated.
“The military must be ready as much for a renewal of an offensive by the enemy in the Donbas as they are for a full-scale invasion along the whole length of the border with Russia. We must be truly ready for this,” Poroshenko says, adding that at least 9,000 Russian soldiers are being operating in the Russian-controlled area.

I have to admit, I wish they would join Obama’s semi-kinetic effort to degrade/annoy ISIS so we could perform airstrikes in support of one terrorist organization that’s killed plenty of Americans against another terrorist organization that’s killed fewer Americans.
I’ve been ignoring China, that’s not because they’ve stopped being all expansiony and bellicose but because I figure they’re not that far from using their military against someone. I’m trying to figure out who. Philippines? Japan? Vietnam? Us? Russia?
I’m mostly just hoping the Navy hasn’t allowed Obama to get rid of all their competent leaders as he’s so obviously doing to the Army and Marines.
Yesterday was day 756 since we discovered Obama was using the IRS to attack his political enemies and what’s Congress doing about it? Not a blessed thing, but the Treasury Dept is on the job!!!!
While the TIGTA report will put the matter back in Congress’ hands, it’s uncertain whether it will arm lawmakers with enough new information to rejuvenate their stalled investigation into the scandal — or whether they’ll have the appetite to follow through on any new information that does emerge.

The District of Columbia Police Department said on Monday it has not issued any gun-carry permit denials since a federal judge ruled the city’s requirement that applicants show a special need to carry a firearm unconstitutional.
You could take that to mean they are handing out permits. Well you could if you were gullible, stupid or willfully ignorant.
Conboy could not say whether any new applications would be approved or what would happen to those whose applications had been denied under the now defunct “good reason” clause.
“We’re awaiting further guidance from the Office of the Attorney General on other applications,” he said.
They will slow roll this and get away with it. Who is going to force them to follow any judge’s rulings? Obama’s “Justice” Dept? The DC police?

Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby plans to seek a protective order that would block the release of Freddie Gray’s autopsy report and other “sensitive” documents as she prosecutes the six police officers involved in his arrest….
The move is the latest effort by Mosby’s office to restrict information in the high-profile case. Her office has also sought a gag order to prevent participants from discussing the case in public, and has broken with a long-standing practice by not giving a copy of the autopsy report to Baltimore police.
She’s hiding evidence from the defense. Rules of discovery are being suspended because White Privilege!!!!!

created in part to preserve the rights and privileges of their members; and separate and distinct from the civic governments, but since the functions and purposes of guild and civic government overlapped, it was not always easy to tell them apart, especially since many well-to-do guildsmen were prominent in civic government.
Mustn’t forget the bribes from the guildmasters and the added power over people this gives to our elected officials.
