How Dare You Question The Establishment?

Important Above The Post Update!!!!!!!!

Carly Fiorina rebuts this fool in a succinct manner (of course, she’s not of the better classes, new money and all that, so can be safely ignored by the NRO fools)

…I think Donald Trump taps into an anger that I hear every day. People are angry that a commonsense thing like securing the border or ending sanctuary cities is somehow considered extreme. It’s not extreme, it’s commonsense. We need to secure the border.

People are also angry at a professional political class of both parties that talks a good game, gives good speeches, but somehow nothing ever really changes. And people are angry as well at a double standard in the media.

Now back to me linking link bait already in progress

Kevin D. Williamson, in a click bait post, calls me a whiner.

It starts out almost good with this bit of history.

What’s generally misunderstood on the Left is that the tea-party movement did not arise as an alternative to the Obama-Reid-Pelosi Democrats but as an alternative to the Bush-McConnell-Hastert Republicans, who were judged to have spent too much, warred too recklessly, and — most significant — to have been too ready to make themselves complicit in the bailouts.

but then veers into non-Scottish, and thus, utter crap.

Not mentioned is how the GOP establishment has been calling us names since the early Tea Party days.

Strawman alert

I’ve spent the past few days at FreedomFest in Las Vegas, Mark Skousen’s annual gathering of liberty-minded activists — think of it as CPAC for people who like weed and gold coins and who are maybe interested in hearing a pitch about taking up domicile in Belize.

Yeah, we’re all like that.

It’s so much easier to make up something to make fun of than to actually pay any attention and debate honestly. But then, the NRO have been tools of the establishment of the GOP since they were horrified that McCain actually chose that snowbilly breeder to run with him. Check out the URL (republican-base-and-donald-trump-whinos-are-frustrated-and-choosing-foolishly), no mention or even any clue that maybe the NRO wing of the GOP is choosing foolishly. They’re smart and we’re stupid. End of story.

…but you may be less familiar with the WHINO. The WHINO is a captive of the populist Right’s master narrative, which is the tragic tale of the holy, holy base, the victory of which would be entirely assured if not for the machinations of the perfidious Establishment.

Again with the strawman.

You see, just because we’ve been trying to get the GOP to do something to stop the slide, and they’ve been fighting us for years (over Obama’s immigration amnesty and Obamacare, the repeals of which were huge factors in why there’s a GOP majority right now) means that we think that if only they had listened to Dr. Ron Paul, we’d be in Schaefer City right now,

More straman

Barack Obama? Pshaw. The real enemy is Jeb Bush.

Well, nominating Jeb Bush is exactly what we’re fighting against in the GOP, but the We’re Better and Smarter Tnan You party knows what’s best and we uneducated, mostly illiterate, racist masses need to get in line. Just because the NRO Wing of the GOP is in line with the Dems, doesn’t mean we should try to get them to change, it means we need to accept the will of our betters.

That this is a deeply stupid view of the world should go without saying, but if you need evidence, consider that the WHINO vote has settled for the moment upon Donald Trump,

You know, this fool could take that poll and look at why it’s happening, but no, he’s smart and everybody who disagrees with him is stupid.

Just because Obama’s illegal immigration amnest was such a huge issue for the GOP base, and why the GOP currently has both houses of Congress, which GOP majority endorsed what they were elected to fight, means we’re stupid and he’s smart.

Ask the WHINO to explain that and you will get the characteristic WHINO whine: “But what about the baaaaaaaaase!?!”

He’s surely going to beat the crap out of that strawman, he’s going to have to ask the Wizard for more straw!!!!!

Which is to say, the WHINO loves Trump not because Trump confounds the Democrats or because he constitutes a serious threat to a Democratic victory in 2016, but because he confounds the Republicans and constitutes a serious threat to a Republican victory in 2016.

Ooooohhhh, so close, and yet so far away.

Trump is popular because he’s the only one saying anything about an issue on which the GOP regained the Senate in the last election, and then they sided with Obama against the people who elected them. They aren’t dancing with who brung ’em.

What this fool does not understand, nay, refuses to even contemplate, is that Jeb Bush is a serious threat to a GOP victory in 2016.

The worst part of the WHINO approach is the campaign strategery.

Listen, there aren’t enough ‘ha’s in the world for that ‘bwa’.

How many times do these fools have to force an “electable” candidate who then gets trounced to understand that their election ‘strategery’ is flawed?

No, you see, all those “electable” candidates keep losing because we’re stupid and they’re smart.

A little funny.

If you are a conservative, and if you believe that the way to reform American public policy is to elect conservatives, and you arrived at Election Day believing that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were, from the conservative point of view, interchangeable commodities, then you are either a fanatic or extraordinarily ill-informed.

From the standpoint of Obamacare and illegal immigration, they were interchangable.

This fool refuses to accept that. Because we’re stupid and he’s smart.

Does this fool not recall that Bush won more of the Mormon vote than Romney?

Oh right, it’s because they’re stupid and he’s smart.

I could point out his idiocies and strawmen until the cows come home, but I’ll end on this bit of lack of historical knowledte.

Republicans would probably be more inclined to give an ear to campaign advice from people who had — stay with me here — a good record for winning elections.

A repost

Thank You!!! I keep hearing how crazy i am for even considering NOT voting for Jeb or any of the other insiders, and wanting to at least HEAR what Trump has to say, that I was actually beginning to think maybe i was crazy.

My biggest problem is exactly as you lay it out . . . I voted for these people based on what they SAID they were going to do, and as soon as they got there they rolled over on me so quick I don’t know how they don’t have whiplash!

“No, we really can’t do anything to stop Obama because Dems control the House and the Senate” We give them control of the House, “No, what we MEANT was we can’t do anything because we don’t control the Senate”, We give them control of the Senate, “No, we can’t do anything because we don’t want to be blamed for anything!” . The Cromnibus passes! IRS investigation. . . “Operation Fast and Furious”, no, nothing to see there, that was just a really good movie, “Benghazi”, nope doesn’t ring any bells, private email servers. . . the list goes on and on and on. And they think I am being a nuisance when I want ANSWERS, and I want someone held ACCOUNTABLE!

If they aren’t actually going to do anything, then why should I care if I vote for a Dem. I have already set $40 aside to donate if Mitch McConnell decides to run again, I can’t believe he will, but just in case, $20 will go to whoever opposes him in the primary. If he wins the primary, I am sending the other $20 to Ashley Judd to run again. At least if someone is going to be voting against my interest, they damn well better be hot doing it!!!
