Ed Driscoll coblogging at the Puppy Blender‘s (he’s up and down, I usually don’t agree with much he writes) links this Telegraph article by Daniel Hannan (who I often agree with, so he’s smart) from last year

The greatest cultural victory of the Left has been to disregard the Nazi-Soviet Pact

I’ve had more people call me a liar for noting that the vicious, murderous commies of the Soviet Union invaded Poland a few weeks after the vicious, murderous Nazis did. They met in Poland and had a good old time talking about the invading, murdering and raping.

Stalin was selling the Nazis all manner of war materiel as Churchill was begging him not to.

It’s been pretty depressing watching youngsters talk about communism as if it’s not a murderous ideology whose adherents murdered, enslaved and just plain fucked with more people than the Nazis ever did (partially because the Nazis burned out so quickly).

EUnuchstan has two basic exports and has for a long time, war and murderous, governmental ideologies with side-lines in slavery, racism and colonialism.

Since I’m pissing people off, I’ll say one more thing that pisses people off, the major differences between Apartheid South Africa and the rest of sub-Saharan Africa was that the ruling tribe was white, the standard of living was much higher for all residents and many/most of the black (African-American-Africans as I hilariously saw some tool during the Olympics call them) inhabitants were immigrants who chose to live there because there was a higher standard of living and fewer people with machetes hacking them to death.

To quote Ronnie Raygun, it’s not that my liberal friends are ignorant, it’s that they know so much that isn’t so.

This is my gun.

Jamie Lee Bracey said he was in a Walmart in Florence, Alabama, last week at the gun counter and happened upon a product that piqued his interest — “Gun Oil H2O.”….

Bracey figures the water in the product would cause rust, so he reads further.

“Let’s see here. ‘Long-lasting lubrication with easy cleanup. Glycerin and paraben free. Wetter, lighter feel than silicone,’” he recited. “Oh that sounds good. That sounds really good. I think my gun would work really good, wetter and lighter.”…

Wait for it….wait for it…..

Reading further, he discovered this “Gun Oil” is “for topical use” and user is to “apply desired amount to genital areas.”

Heh.

Somewhere, a bunch of DIs are laughing their asses off and they have no idea why.

We’ll know if we can trust the next asshole by whether or not they go after Obamacare and/or the immigration crap. i.e. the reasons they won the last election.

When I asked my magic 8-ball what to expect, it said “All signs point to you’re an idiot for even asking that fucking question. Of course they won’t do shit. Moron.”

Since I’m not posting much, my new job is kicking my ass, I’ll leave you with a horrible pun (It was that or a mime. You’re welcome.)

I talk about math to groups of people, my left eye was blinded 33 years ago so it doesn’t track very well with the other one anymore, the blind one is wide open while the good one squints.

What that means is that if I’m talking to someone more than 5 feet away, he or she looks over her or his shoulder because they can’t tell where I’m looking.

It’s annoying to me and that person. It’s not anybody’s fault (except the guy who hit me with the ski pole), but it’s still very annoying.

So now I wear an eye patch.

Since I teach math, I figured I’d go with a bad pun.

i patch

I’m mostly hoping I don’t run into a mathematician who slaps me in the face for that.

Obama I mean.

As we all know, he’s on the side of whoever hates America the most and here we see some of that flexibility he was talking about with Tsar Putin I before the election.

Case in point.

Reports indicate the (Russian V) military buildup in Syria could consist of combat aircraft that are capable of striking ground targets, providing close air support and intercepting aircraft, and small numbers of main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers to transport troops to the battlefield.

So what did the US have to say about that?

In a “constructive conversation,” both Carter and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu agreed to “further discuss mechanisms for deconfliction in Syria

Constructive.

I assume the discussions included something about a certain, shitty-little-country and how all the problems in the area are their fault.

This bit is kinda funny.

However, with U.S. aircraft also operating in the country as America roots out ISIS, it is important that the two powers coordinate their military presence to avoid accidental encounters.

Yeah, our “airstrikes” that occasionally blow up a piece of our equipment that Obama supplied to ISIS.

I wonder if the ‘coordination’ will involve bombing Israel.

I have to admit, I’m looking fondly back on the old Obama, the one who fought both sides of any war, now he’s just fighting against the US’ interests.

I’ve been avoiding news lately, work has been kicking my ass, so all day yesterday whenever I flipped by CNN, they had something along the bottom about how Trump said he doesn’t have to defend Obama, I was wondering why he was supposed to defend Obama.

I found out why,  someone called Obama a Muslim and apparently it’s Trump’s job to defend Obama, at least according to Minitrue, but Trump doesn’t feel that’s the case.

How do you talk to idiots like that?

Why the hell is it anybody but Minitrue’s or John Boehner’s job to defend Obama?

Especially as Obama is not Christian either, he’s a radical socialist and that’s the closest thing to religion he believes in.

I still see people on TV talking about whether the Iran deal is good or bad, is that still a question? I thought we had figured that out at least a few weeks ago.

There will be mushroom clouds rising over Riyadh and Minitrue will be demanding that W Bush defend Obama’s deal.

Drool By Bureaucrat

Mother fuckers.

The Loop 202 is back open in both directions Wednesday evening in Mesa after authorities investigated a suspicious object.

…Air15 showed a robot lifting the lid of what appeared to be a red cooler with the letters “QT” (QuickTrip-convenience store V)written in black on the side.

My commute goes on that road, so at 5pm I, and a few thousand of my closest friends, had to go to 101, which is always screwed, to 60, which is also always screwed, making both of those roads uber-screwed.

Look at the pic, it’s a freaking cooler that fell of someone’s truck. If there was a warning or threat about a bomb on the highway, that would be something different.

But this was some asshole bureaucrat who figured he’d close a fucking highway because some asshole lost his fucking cooler.

I fucking hate bureaucrats with fucking boxes to fucking check.

Terrorists can leave us alone as we are too fucking stupid to survive.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, via CNS News,  we see that there are 21,995,000 people in all levels of gov’t and 19,540,000 work in “goods producing’.

That means more than 10% more people work in gov’t, siphoning off productivity, than work in the productive areas.

Add in all the folks who collect money from the gov’t for not working, and we’re basically at a point where some small percentage of the working age are supporting the rest of the working age and the non-working age folks.

I’m sure that’s sustainable and does not mean that we need to shrink our gov’t to a sustainable level.

At least, that’s what almost the entire country thinks.

Eh, we be boned.

I saw on Foxnews Sunday that Jindal and another GOP candidate are saying they won’t support Trump if he wins.

You know, cuz GOP voters are so stupid their votes should not be binding on our GOP betters.

I had high hopes for Jindal too.

My Hero?

I drive in the greater Phoenix-metropolitan region every weekday, and I’m curious about this I-10 shooter person.

Somebody’s shooting at cars on highways in Phoenix, maybe around too. I hadn’t heard about it until Tuesday morning when one the morning idiots mentioned it on the radio.

Nobody’s been shot, one girl was hurt by glass flying.

Now, the highways around here are awesome. Wide lanes and usually plenty of them. The speed limit is almost always 65 so 80 is about average.

Except for that idiot who’s doing 64 in the left lane gumming up the works.

If this shooting is trying to teach manners to those idjits, I’m torn.

I’d have to say I’m agin it though, he can’t take out enough of those assholes to make a difference and the cops wouldn’t say that’s what’s going on.

And who’s going say, “I was driving like an inconsiderate dickwad so this guy shot at me.”

Eh, every little bit helps I guess.

The GOP deal is actually pretty entertaining.

I still don’t see Trump doing anything, but I was wrong about the financial deal. Of course, I thought the financial thing had to be much more detailed, but still…..

I cannot believe Kasich is doing well anywhere, but Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina are really shaking things up.

Lefties can screech about racism and wymyn-hating, and watching them try to “other” Carson and Fiorina ala Clarence Thomas and Sarah Palin, respectively, is going to be ugly, but what if one of them wins?

Walking is fading fast, I’m not sure what the hell Rick Perry is doing but Carson and Fiorina are in position to take advantage of the “we hate the GOP” GOP Primary.

I was fer Walker, I’d still like it if he did well. I like Cruz, but I’m not sure if he’s a POTUS (cuz I hate minorities, obviously), that leaves Fiorina and Carson, both of whom I like but neither of whom I figured had a chance.

Of course, Jeb!!!!!!!!!! has a lot of money, big, establishment prick supporters so he’ll be in it until long after he should have figured out to just go home.

There is one piece of hilarious, non-endiness.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina is polling 3% support in South Carolina,

Of course, that poll would be much better if it was on Graham for Senate, but that’s still pretty funny.
You realize what that calls for?

little lord graham

Rule By Bureaucrat

Posted: September 3, 2015 by veeshir in Funniest End of Civilization Evah, GOP Win!

We have increasingly been becoming under rule by bureaucrat at all levels of everything.

Ace links a New Republic article by Larry McMurtry, I haven’t actually read it (That would void my moron membership I think), but that’s not the point.

This is.

And we shouldn’t be doing that in America. This is not Germany; we have rules because we need rules. We do not have rules just because we love the rules themselves, and we love inflicting them on people. (bold underline Me V)

No, we are ruled by bureaucrats who are themselves advised and coerced by lawyers so the rules are the point. They’re the do all and be all of our masters’ existence.

If you don’t follow the rules, well, that’s a bureaucrats worst nightmare and a lawyers wet dream.

So the rules are the point anymore. Zero tolerance at schools is one example.

If there’s one thing a bureaucrat loves to do, it’s shove the rules down your throat.

I left the Patent Office because where I worked was all bureaucrats with a relatively large percentage of lawyers.

I couldn’t take it another day. It was the hardest thing I could do to get up and go to work.

I got in more trouble for not checking a box that was supposed to be checked than for making a mistake.

That mindset is how the gov’t can take your stuff if you haven’t done anything, some bureaucrat has some boxes to check and if you lose your business in the process? Well, you shouldn’t have come to his notice.

I’m am so rooting for an asteroid.
