I’m a little surprised the Trump/Bernie debate isn’t going to happen. It would have been ideal for Trump and Bernie both. A whole debate where everybody bashes Hillary! and the only defender would have been if they had a Clintonista as moderator. Also, Bernie gets some people to pay attention to him. That’s important for his self-esteem.
Ace had a “It’s time for Trump haters to shut up.” post and was, I guess, viciously attacked in his comments (The deuce you say….Rude commenters at Ace’s?!?!?!?!) so he did another post about how it’s aimed at righty bloggers and pundits.

Less than a year ago, Kim Davis ignored a court order from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and refused to issue a marriage license to same-sex couples. She was held in contempt of court, served five days in jail, and was ruthlessly attacked in the media.
Now the office of Karl Racine, the Washington, D.C. attorney general, has ordered D.C. government employees to ignore a court order from the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. The order by the D.C. District Court Judge Richard Leon was to stop denying individuals applying for a concealed-carry permit from requiring a “good reason,” and to immediately update the forms to no longer require that.
The DC attorney general just told a federal judge to suck his balls and our fine media betters are totes uninterested.
At the end of the article they have some blah-blah-blah from the AG’s office saying they would never, ever defy a judge. People who were denied over not having a good enough reason have to resubmit applications, using the same forms. So of course I believe this fine upstanding law enforcement official.

After the order, I went to apply for a concealed-carry permit in the District of Columbia. The police officers there told me the D.C. attorney general’s office had ordered them to ignore the court order and continue to deny applications. Thinking there might be some kind of mistake, I contacted the AG’s office, which explicitly told me if I had a complaint about what they did I could file that complaint online.
Yeah, I know who I believe and I now what they do with that online complaint.
Forward it to the IRS of course.

lady Peggy Noonan explained the speech Bush gave after 911: It was called “Plainspoken
Eloquence.” It was her point that it did not matter that Bush was a mediocre speaker so
long as the American people knew what he meant.

50 guys in the house are too fucking concerned with the Op Ed page of the New York
Slimes, and not concerned enough with the will of the people. I was a Cruz guy all the

months earlier. Why did I know that? Trump was saying all the things that needed to be
said, and Cruz was not!

The signs for the former are that he is calling for massive income, corporate, and
business tax cuts. He is promising that cabinet officers and their subordinate managers
will be held accountable for corruption, complaisance, sloth and inefficiency. While
he is threatening foreign nations with tariffs, he is holding out an olive branch for those
companies which do not relocate offshore or return to our shores by way of lower corporate
and business taxes, regulatory relief, etc. As a former Millwright and industrial maintenance mechanic, I can state without reservation that the destruction of the industrial sector was a
direct result of an insane assault on the production of cheap and abundant energy, under the
guise of environmentalism. That is the major reason liberal ideology led to the de-
industrialization of America.
On paper, Donald Trump is perfect candidate! If he does even half of what he is promising,
Michael P. Keaton (Michael J. Fox’s character on Family Ties) will be spanking his monkey
at the prospect of a Trump Presidency! (He played a Reaganite teenage son of a couple

Here is the problem I have with the Never Trump people. He is promising every fucking
thing they claimed to want, yet hate him with a passion. Many are openly declaring that
they will vote for the communist lesbian before they will cast a vote for Trump. This tells
me they are NOT driven by conservative ideology. Carol Platt Leibau guest hosted
for Hugh Hewitt a few years back. She was interviewing that vile cunt Michelle Malkin.
She was on a rip and tear on the GOP over the issue of immigration. When asked if the
GOP gave her EVERYTHING she wanted, Malkin replied: “I would still seek the destruction
of the Republican party!” This explained everything to me one sentence.
Hewitt is still waiting for the establishment substitute a GOP moderate to run in November.
Krauthammer was a Never Trump guy until he realized he was the people’s choice,
Krystol, George Will, Ben Shapiro, etc. As I said in my last post, you can learn a lot
about a person by who his enemies are; Graham, Rubio, Cruz, McStain, and the rest
