I Guess They Don’t Want Me Watching

I flipped to the beginning of the 49ers/Rams game to see a close-up of two Niners players kneeling for our National Anthem. I’m not sure if they were the only two, I changed the channel and I ain’t going back.

I didn’t want to watch football tonight anyway.

The Giants are not going to be on local TV next week. I won’t be going to a sports bar to watch it.

It’s 10 am so I wouldn’t be drinking too much any, but I would eat and tip very well.

Not anymore.

If they don’t take care of that they’ll lose a lot of viewers.

For those too young, during the 80s Jim McMahon tried wearing a headband that didn’t meet the NFL’s standards, he was fined $5,000 by Pete Rozelle, the 80s version of the asshole Roger Goodell.

The next game he wore a headband with “Rozelle” as a protest.

I’ve just updated it for modern sensibilities.

Actually, this is in conclusion, I have a fever and the only prescription is more Illary!

Don’t blame you. You know you can stream that stuff online, though, right?

Yeah, my buddy has like 5 sites he uses.
I don’t trust em. His computer is riddled with viruses.
If I’m going somewhere sketchy it better have boobs.

Good point. I’ve used *nix OSes for years to do that sort of stuff so I just have to close out all of the annoying ads and their collective spawn to be able to watch. Didn’t even think about the malware angle.
