There have been many examples of a ‘mostly-peaceful’ movement whose goals were violently supported by a supposed unaffiliated organization.
The Spartans
Had the Krypeia, they killed uppity helots……………………
We can look to Ireland in the mid-late 1900s.
They had with the totally unaffiliated IRA
The Dems haven’t learned a lot of history, but what they’ve learned they really know well.
Dem front groups
then Obama used his SEIU thugs for all manner of stuff
Now, they’re using college students.
But they weren’t part of Berkely!!!!!!!!! journolistsplains this NY Times article about how free speech is good and all, for some people. I love this bit. Notice the “mostly likely were not from the campus”, that’s leftish for “were mostly Berkely students.”
It was clear early on that the majority of violent protesters most likely were not from the campus. Still, in the aftermath, I heard people say that peaceful demonstrations would not have succeeded in preventing Mr. Yiannopoulos from speaking. So was violence appropriate? (emphasis me V)
Sometimes violence is necessary when dealing with people who disagree with the tenets of love, tolerance and mostly-peace.
… it gets funnier … from Newsweek
“Robert Reich asks, were Milo Yiannopoulos and Brietbart News in cahoots with the agitators, in order to lay the groundwork for a Trump crackdown on universities and their federal funding?” … then, Trump tweets about a crackdown on Federal funding… they go all conspiracy theory … and ipso facto … Milo Yiannopoulos and Brietbart News were in cahoots with the agitators, in order to lay the groundwork for a Trump crackdown on universities and their federal funding…
no facts, pure conjecture, masked perps = fake news
Love the photos of the Dem front groups! We must resolve never to let the progs forget that first one, in particular.
Hey, maybe the Spartans weren’t so bad.
Maybe the Helots were hippie, leftist anarchists.
I think he meant the first Dem front group.
The Helots were not just hippies, but they also put their toilet paper ‘over the top’!
Lol
‘over the top’?
Gross.
You know, I make a bunch of Aussie jokes and you Aussie guys don’t say a word, make a shit joke and you come out of the fookin’ woodwork.
I don’t think it was a shit joke.
The thought of Helots having their toilet paper roll over the top is quite funny.
No wonder the Spartans subjugated the pansies.
I’m on my phone so I can’t link, but one of the mostly peaceful protestors, who were “most-likely” not from Berkely, worked there.
