Dammit, the dog must have taken my socks!

bad-dog

It just keeps staying stupid out there. Whodathunk we’d go from the Funniest End of Civilization Ever to the Stupidest End of Civilization Ever so quickly?

I’ve been trying to miss football, but the NFL has figured out a way to keep me from missing it.

A week after Houston celebrated hosting Super Bowl LI, the NFL says the state’s proposed transgender bathroom bill could affect whether Texas gets to do so again.

In its first statement since Senate Bill 6 was filed in January, the NFL has warned it will take into account the civil rights law of states before it chooses future event locations.

They  refuse to allow me just to enjoy their game.

This is just cruel

He asked HS kids ditching school why they were protesting. They weren’t really sure but really, did anybody expect anything different? They’re against going to school and for ditching school.

I’ve been wanting to ask this question, how is Jesse Watters different from Stuttering John? O’Reilly sends Watters out to ambush people with questions they don’t want to answer, that’s exactly how Howard used Stuttering John. Although….I don’t think Jesse Watters has ever asked Ted Williams if he farted in a catcher’s face.

I’m a little embarrassed I had to see this NY Post article at Innocent Bystanders,  I must have missed it yesterday.

Chadwick Moore, a 33-year-old journalist who lives in Williamsburg, had been a lifelong liberal. Then, last September, he penned a profile for Out magazine of Milo Yiannopoulos — a controversial alt-right extremist who is an outspoken critic of feminism, Muslims and gay rights (despite being openly gay himself). Although the Out story didn’t take a positive stance — or any stance — on Yiannopoulos, Moore found himself pilloried by fellow Democrats and ostracized by longtime friends.

Here, he tells Michael Kaplan his story — including why the backlash drove him to the right.

Dude’s in for a rough time. This is the de rigueur quote

I realized that, for the first time in my adult life, I was outside of the liberal bubble and looking in. What I saw was ugly, lock step, incurious and mean-spirited.

I’ve known a bunch of lefties, gay or not, who saw the same thing except they went back in. When we’re talking alone they’ll tell me that they’re afraid to go against their friends. They expect sympathy from me, they get confusion. How can you refuse to think for yourself?

Little bit of naivety

I hope to find out that it pays to keep an open mind.

And I hope that New Yorkers can be as open-minded and accepting of my new status as a conservative man as they’ve been about my sexual orientation.

Hope in one hand, jerk off in the other. See which hands gets sticky first.

I wonder if Dave Chappelle just destroyed his career (again)

Comedian Dave Chappelle has been prepping for his November 12 hosting slot on Saturday Night Live …

He was particularly agitated about what he believes was Clinton’s role in leaking a surreptitiously recorded conversation between Republican nominee Donald J. Trump and TV personality Billy Bush. “What I heard on that tape was gross,” Chappelle said. “But the way I got to hear it was even more gross. You know that came directly from Hillary.” He stated this had put him off a candidate he had already known was “not right.” He likened voting for her to a hypothetical situation of actress Halle Berry breaking wind in his face during sexual relations. “I’m still going to go for it,” he said. “But I wish she hadn’t done that thing.”

He notices one of the fake news things that all right (left) thinking people know to ignore.

Chappelle further shocked the New York crowd by defending Trump. He took issue with the media stating as fact that Trump had admitted committing sexual assault in the recorded conversation. “Sexual assault? It wasn’t. He said, ‘And when you’re a star, they let you do it.’ That phrase implies consent. I just don’t like the way the media twisted that whole thing. Nobody questioned it.”

Yeah see, maybe nobody you know questioned it, but that doesn’t mean nobody questioned it.

Good luck with the whole, losing all your friends, thing though.

Hungary does not want  those refugees. Headline and subhed

Bounty hunters chasing immigrants on horses, a 110-mile razor fence and bans on new mosques: ANDREW MALONE reports from the EU country whose brutal crackdown on Muslim migrants makes Trump look liberal
Laszlo Toroczkai, 47, and his bounty hunters have caught hundreds of migrants
He is mayor of Asotthalom, Hungary, a small town that borders Serbia
During the refugee crisis, thousands poured in across the unprotected border

Apparently, they have some experience with Muslim invasions

It is a debate in which Hungary is utterly uncompromising. To understand why, one must understand how Hungary’s bitter opposition to Muslims, stretching back centuries to the invasion and occupation by Ottoman Muslim rulers for 150 years until 1699.

But they’ll take those other refugees.

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orban has offered to open up his country to refugees – but only those seeking sanctuary from the liberal policies of western Europe….

“Of course we can give shelter to the real refugees: Germans, Dutch, French, Italians; scared politicians and journalists; Christians who had to flee their own country; those people who want to find here the Europe that they lost at their home,” he noted to applause.

Okay, that’s funny until you realize it’s not funny at all.

Tsar Putin I and Sultan Erdogan are playing Risk and it’s going swimmingly.

Intense fighting continues in and around al-Bab, a town of 100,000 people in northern Syria, with the Free Syrian Army forces supported by the Turks entering from the north, while Syrian regime forces enter from the south…

Syria is now split into areas controlled by one of four factions; ISIL, the Syrian government, the Free Syrian army, and the Kurds. Al-Bab is special because it is the only place in Syria where all four have significant forces in close proximity.

I’m sure that’s going to work out well. The Free Syrian Army forces are a hodgepodge of murderous terrorist groups that form, split and reform with explosive regularity, each splinter group hates everybody not of their splinter group. The Kurds are hated and hate all the rest, the Syrian gov’t forces hate the rest and ISIS, of course, hates everybody not a believer in their murderous interpretation of Islam. Some of the Free Syrian Army folks were formerly part of ISIS, and probably will be again. Getting into a war in Syria is even more stupider than being in a land war in Asia.

I’ve been wondering if this is going to get Russia and Turkey in a war, more hoping actually.

Turkish military tanks were spotted supporting the Sultan Murad Brigade in clashes with forces loyal to the Assad regime in the village of Um Al-Zindin, Syria, south of the Islamic State-held al-Bab

These are peoples who’ve hated each other for thousands of years, adding in differing, murderous ideologies has just given them another reason to kill each other so no matter what the end game is going to be murderously confused.

Catalonia has another referendum on independence from Spain this year and Spain is acting all upset.

I have to wonder if all these referendums are failure theater or if they’re actually trying to accomplish it.

If Catalonia gets independent, can Basque independence be far behind? Will we see a Basque/Catalonian nation formed between Spain and France? Maybe two, smaller countries? Will we see a three sided civil war? Should be funnier than their last civil war, fewer Nazis.

Remember that fashion designer from the other day? I found some even more ridiculous looking outfits for guys!

I’ve decided to identify as gay, to be cool, so I’m identifying women as men. Is that unacceptably cixnormative?

Oh hai!

look

The best job in the world!

great-job

I tried majoring in that in college

I love giphy.
