I’m not sure what to make of this

The overnight violence in Les Ulis followed earlier clashes between police and protesters at the weekend, in which several dozen people were detained.

Tension has gripped some Paris suburbs since 2 February, when a man called Theo was allegedly beaten up and raped.

It’s another excuse for the usual car-b-que but with extra firebombs and vandalism. Did the cops really rape some kid? That seems unlikely. It is something the people rioting normally do so convincing them someone else acts the way they do shouldn’t be hard.

The gov’t said, “We’re gonna stop that bill that allows to take bribes!” Much to my surprise they then actually did it! I still think they’re doing a little flim flam, but now people are protesting for the gov’t.

I have to admit, I’m rooting for the ACLU on this one.

These comments come on the tail end of when police showed up in riot helmets to the illegal Portland Resistance protest on Monday. That protest was partially sponsored by Black Lives Matter PDX.

The guy heard this and grabbed a gun to see what was happening, when the cops broke in they killed him.
