It’s funny how small the world is these days.

Did the French media conspire to destroy the presidential candidacy of François Fillon over the issue of his wife’s alleged non-existent job as his parliamentary assistant? Is Emmanuel Macron a candidate produced by the media? Does Marine Le Pen get a rough ride from the mainstream media in France?

I’ve been trying to figure out what this Geert Wilders dude is all about, but like most people hated by all the right “journalists”, it’s hard to figure him out, but this doesn’t sit well.

The roots of the FISA warrant were themselves odd. According to both Mensch and the BBC, they centered on a server in Trump Tower found last Spring to have been communicating with Russia’s Alfa Bank, itself reportedly with strong ties to Vladimir Putin. The FBI reportedly came to conclude that the communications were likely innocuous.

Huh, why it’s almost as if there is some proof!

A liar (Ruth Marcus) at the Fake News site, Wash Post, had this to say on Twitter

If Trump is correct about wiretaps, signals big trouble for him–a FISA warrant, federal judge finding probable cause for surveillance.

So I guess we’ll know how Minitrue will cover it, blame Obama’s chicago-machine lawless slimery on Trump.

 

Here’s one of the reports that seems to have some evidence that our fine Minitrue betters are denying exist.

Lawyers from the National Security Division in the Department of Justice then drew up an application. They took it to the secret US court that deals with intelligence, the Fisa court, named after the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. They wanted permission to intercept the electronic records from two Russian banks.

Their first application, in June, was rejected outright by the judge. They returned with a more narrowly drawn order in July and were rejected again. Finally, before a new judge, the order was granted, on 15 October, three weeks before election day.

A lawyer- outside the Department of Justice but familiar with the case – told me that three of Mr Trump’s associates were the subject of the inquiry. “But it’s clear this is about Trump,” he said.

I spoke to all three of those identified by this source. All of them emphatically denied any wrongdoing. “Hogwash,” said one. “Bullshit,” said another. Of the two Russian banks, one denied any wrongdoing, while the other did not respond to a request for comment.

Now, if you read the BBC article that I quoted, you’ll see it’s from when our fine media betters were trying to tie Trump to Russia, so in other words, oft evil will shall evil mar as their “Trump’s a Russian Puppet!!!!” story line exposed the more accurate story line, “Obama was a lawless POTUS that our fine media betters ignored.”

 

As our fine media betters are freaking out about Trump pointing out the perfidy and felony of their god-president, they’re ignoring a real intelligence failure (in both senses)

Last year, eight members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence issued a demand that their staffers be granted access to top secret classified information.

The signatories to the letter were Andre Carson, Luis Guiterez, Jim Himes, Terri Sewell, Jackie Speier, Mike Quigley, Eric Swalwell and Patrick Murphy. All the signatories were Democrats. Some had a history of attempting to undermine national security.

Two of them have been linked to an emerging security breach…

A member of Congress expressed concern that, “they may have stolen data from us.”
