Shit, Everything Old Is Still New

And everything new is still getting pretty fucking old.

I’m ignoring The Election Was Hacked By Russia For Trump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shit, that’s getting very old.

I’m also ignoring, “Trump Lied About Wiretapping!!!!!!!!! Well, sure, his peeps were listened in on, but it was INADVERTENT!!!!! and not a Wiretap!”

Because the blatant and open dishonesty is just too much to take in. I’m mostly wondering how much of America is looking at all the media’s contortions (I’m looking at you Foxnews) to try to make Trump look like the liar by lying about him.

The only question I have is what they’re calling Journolist these days. I do know the Journolist Words Of The Day were “inadvertent” and “incidental”.

I hit “Post” and then pulled it back because I forgot this.

This is getting old. My bougainvillea is still watching me.

I’m just trying to read my dam book and this sucker keeps staring at me!

Now this shit is getting pretty old.

Terrorist Worked Alone!!!!!!!

British Prime Minister,Theresa May, speaking in the House of Commons, said that the man who carried out Wednesday’s terrorist attack in Westminster “acted alone.”...

Police investigating the crime have now made eight arrests in raids in Birmingham and London:“The inquiries in Birmingham, London and other parts of the country are continuing. It is still our belief, which continues to be borne out by our investigation, that this attacker acted alone and was inspired by international terrorism.

So he worked alone with these people spread across Akbar Britain and the rest of the world.

That word “alone” apparently has changed its meaning in the 21st century, when applied to Islamic terrorists.

Hypocritical, Intolerant Canucks are getting very fucking old.

Officials in the Manitoba border town of Emerson say some residents are starting to get a little annoyed with how asylum-seekers are behaving when they arrive in the community.

Reeve Greg Janzen says nine or more people who illegally crossed the border walked into town early Tuesday morning.

He tells CTV Winnipeg that one group of three people started ringing doorbells at 4 a.m. at a house in town, looking for help.

He says on Sunday morning, another group of six was knocking on doors and looking into a window, characterizing the behaviour as “a little rude.”

You should be more tolerant and welcoming! They’re just trying to make a better life for themselves and their country they’re entering illegally!

I do love the title, “Reeve”, it always reminds me of Dan Aykroyd

Dickface!

Tsarism! It’s not old, it’s new!

Nikolai Gorokhov, a lawyer representing the family of a Russian whistleblower, was reportedly thrown out of the fourth floor of his Moscow apartment building on Tuesday — a day before the 53-year-old was due to appear in court regarding a contentious corruption case.

Obama has to be jealous, he had all that picky Rule of Law shit to get around, murdering whistleblowers is tougher here. Even Clintons have to be careful about that.

The battle for Mosul is going as expected. The terrorists are hiding among civilians courting civilian casualties is very old, so why are we bombing from on high? What could go wrong!

The US-led coalition fighting the Islamic State group says it is investigating reports of an airstrike in a western Mosul neighborhood that allegedly left more than 100 civilians dead.

Residents of the Iraqi city’s neighborhood known as Mosul Jidideh told an Associated Press team at the scene that scores of residents are believed to have been killed by a pair of airstrikes that hit a cluster of homes in the area earlier this month.

Oh.

Let’s do some slimy American politician news.

Where are we in our revolt?

Our betters surely think it’s getting old.

I don’t think the GOP is going to manage that. It’s been far too obvious that our fine GOP betters are not interested in getting rid of Obamacare so blaming the people who are trying to save us from the gov’t controlling our entire lives is a tough sell.

But Trump doesn’t need Congress to even act.

Small businesses are pleading the Trump administration to delay an onerous Obama-era regulation requiring calorie labeling on menus, violations of which can carry jail time for mislabeling food.

Jail Time for mislabeling food? Jebus.

But that’s not the point.

All Trump has to do is just Executively Order Obamacare away.

Obama had to keep writing memos, orders and calling bureaucrats to get it to work. If Trump just undoes all that illegal changing of a law, it would go away.

Look at how much they illegally delayed to help Dems get elected, or at least, get Obama re-elected

He could also just give waivers to all of America.

That fucking law was all about stupidity and unConstitutionality, getting rid of it should be easy. Hell, I’d love to see the Supreme Court explain how Obama giving waivers to the politically connected is fine but Trump giving waivers to the non-politically connected is verboten!

Now, there are places with more corrupt pols, but there are none with pols any slimier and more open about their corruption and sliminess than NY pols. What’s funny is that the NY Post seems to be trying to pretend this very old corruption is all new and shit.

Will Any Scandal  put an end to NY pols’ shadowy-spending ways? asks the NY Post.

Kudos to Citizens Union for pointing out that Gov. Cuomo’s budget plan includes $13.8 billion in shadowy spending — nearly a tenth of the total $152.3 billion plan.

The watchdog group’s “Spending in the Shadows” report flags outlays that face little or no public scrutiny — including for some programs that resemble the Buffalo Billion projects that now have several Cuomo ex-associates facing federal corruption charges, and/or the funds key to the corruption that earned ex-Assembly Speaker Shelly Silver his long federal prison sentence.

The hallmark of all NY budgets

The budget includes $9.5 billion in “economic development” funds, which face minimal oversight and are notorious for abuse.

Slush funds for paying off connected contributors are required. Notorious for abuse is NY Speak for “Business as Usual”.

With this Evergreen Quote!!!!!!

Yes, both chambers of the Legislature have ideas for greater transparency in (Cuomo-controlled) economic-development spending. The gov, meanwhile, has proposals for more sunlight on the lawmakers’ pork.

Arf Arf Arf!!!! Slap! Slap! Slap! Honk! Honk! Honk!

They’re GOING TO DO SOMETHING!!!!!! THEY’RE GETTING HARUMPHS FROM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To answer the original question, No, it won’t. We’ve been watching their corrupt negotiations going on in the pages of the NY Times and the Albany Times Useless for decades and the only thing that’s changed is the names.

Chicago might be more corrupt, but since a Clintonista took power, they’re chasing NY’s sliminess.

This article is hilarious in its obtusity. As if everything old is suddenly new.

A rock has been turned over in Chicago, and all kinds of revelations are scattering out.

Bill Ruthhart and Hal Dardick report in the Chicago Tribune:

Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s personal email accounts

What is it with Clintonistas and email?

have served as a private avenue of influence where executives and investors sought favorable action from City Hall,

The deuce you say! You mean a Chicago pol sells infuence?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

raising questions about whether some of the messages crossed the line into lobbying and violated the city’s ethics law, the Chicago Tribune has found.

Wait, Chicago has ethics laws?

Now that’s something new!

Wait, no it isn’t. That’s the price vice pays to fool the idiots who believe what people say instead of what they do.

Speaking of Clintonistas, let’s see what’s going on in Corruptocrat Land.

I bet a dollar it’s titled, “All About Sex! How The GOP Held A Nation Hostage!”

The scripted anthology series will focus on US Presidents, according to an announcement by the channel. One of the first projects in development? The 1998 to 1999 impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton, covering his affair with Monica Lewinsky, how the Clinton family dealt with the fallout, and the secret back-channel negotiations between the White House and Congress.

We all know the bad guy, Newt.

This should be titled “Wishful Thinking“.

The studious interest in Chelsea’s next move is understandable coming from the right, which has always hated the Clintons and no doubt welcomes the distraction Chelsea offers from the president’s dismal approval ratings and damning intelligence hearings. Bill, Hillary and Chelsea have long been enthusiasm-boosters for the Republicans, and they’re reluctant to give them up.

I’m a Clinton-Hater from way back but the most I can work up for that sad, colorless, drab scion is amused contempt. Note to the LA Times, it’s Democrats who are pushing her. It’s conservatives who are pointing and laughing. It’s GOP establishment pricks who are looking forward to another Clinton to fundraise on, it’s their comfort zone.

But the laser-focused Chelsea vitriol is perplexing when it comes from the left. Shouldn’t such first-daughter hatred be reserved for Ivanka? Wouldn’t their attention be better spent on potential 2018 and 2020 candidates who have already declared their interest? Aren’t there bigger battles to fight — and aren’t they glad that such a prominent Democratic figure is registering her dissent with the current administration?

Nobody who hasn’t been forced to work with her cares enough about her to hate her.

Let’s end on one of my pet peeves, where everything old is new, then old, then new, then old, then new, then…..

Butter, eggs, salt, bacon, coffee, olive oil and more have been good for you, bad for you, good for you, bad for you, good for you, bad for you…

Like eggs, which many people had virtually banished from their diets, cheese is well on its way to being rehabilitated as a “good” nutrient rich food. Along with a slew of other nutrition nonsense we’ve been fed constantly over the years by “experts” and government agencies doing their bidding this too will end up being completely debunked. Butter? Coconut oil? Red meat? None of them are actually “bad” for you at all.

That’s old and yet people keep ‘noticing’ it as if it’s all new.

Eat stinky cheeses, butter, olive oil, salt and eggs, they’re better for you than the processed crap they make instead.

And don’t forget the bacon!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why do “nutritionists” keep telling us all the food for breakfast is bad for us?

I think they just hate America.

… scrambled eggs with a little Locatelli cheese and pancetta … mmmmmost important meal of the day …

    • Veeshir says:

Locatelli romano is the best romano in America.
Safeway here stopped carrying it. I have to go to Whole Foods.
I’m thinking of getting a MAGA hat or We Shall Overcomb shirt for my trips.

Interesting how constant contact with our glorious leaders ends up with lone wolves killing civilians just out for a walk and a pint. Probably nothing. At least not anything to do with catching a certain worldview. I guess if one hangs around the truly powerful and sadistic for awhile, everything becomes fresh meat.

Back in the day, I hear they used to ship out, kill, or lock up the crazy ones.
Seems like our mommies have lost that maternal instinct.

    • veeshir says:

Yeah, Britain used to ship their undesirables to Australia, now they’re importing them.

There’s a morality play in there.
It would have to be a farce though.

  3. Paco says:

All those lone wolves make quite a large pack, and they always go after the same prey. But, hey, we’ve always got that mighty weapon on our side: the candlelight vigil.
