“Reality” is winning on points, but sooner or later reality will stage a comeback. Sorta like how it took a few decades before the reality that the Roman Empire had fallen was obvious to everybody.

First, I’m gonna disagree on this.

“Centrists” are just members in good standing of the We’re Better And Smarter Than You party. They do not want to lose the power over us that Obamacare gives them. If they don’t control our lives, they cannot demand bribes and kickbacks on how they dole out our rights.

The GOP has lied to us. It’s much harder to keep Obamacare going than to get rid of it. So they’re busy making sure it does not go away.

Our best hope is the GOP fucks us again so Trump just undoes all the memoes, phone calls and executive orders Obama did to keep it from imploding.

 

I watched Shep for a few minutes the other day, he was talking about Venezuela and he acted as if the protestors were getting violent. He showed them in Gas Masks!!!!!!!!! but he called them, “Masks”, as in, “Protestors wearing masks!!!!!!” and then a few images of violent protestors building barricades.

Then he showed gov’t folks shooting tear gas into the crowds. Shep did not notice or mention that maybe, just fucking maybe Shep you leftist piece of shit, the protestors were wearing those “masks” because the murderous forces of the murderous dictator/nee secret policeman were murdering protestors!

Repression in Caracas on Wednesday was probably the worst in three weeks of protests. While usually satisfied with choking us but allowing us some margin of movement, this time they used enough tear gas to make us reconsider coming back, or prevent a gathering altogether.

Yesterday, Juan Pablo Pernalete Llovera, a 20-year old student, was murdered. A tear gas canister hit him in the chest as he protested in Altamira and, sadly, he arrived at Salud Chacao with no vital signs.

Organizers began planning the Rally for Equality and American Values at the University of Pikeville back in February, almost as soon as the Traditionalist Worker Party announced its intention to converge on Pikeville for a rally.

An American paramedic working with a security watchdog in eastern Ukraine has been killed after the vehicle he was in drove over a mine.

The US citizen, who has not been named, was part of a patrol involved in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s (OSCE) Special Monitoring mission in the country.

And now the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has examined what happens to the data that’s collected from students using technology in the classroom. They released the results of an extensive survey covering students in grades K-12.

What they found was that little work has been done to protect the privacy of the student information that is collected from both the classroom and from using the online software the schools issue for use at home on the students’ own devices. A few weeks ago I bought some Chips Ahoy cookies for the first time in years. They sucked. It tasted like pressed sawdust coated with sugar and grease. I was going to get Oreos, but they have like 9 different kinds of freaking Oreo so I just got Chips Ahoy.  Now, I don’t eat cookies very often, but when I do Chips Ahoy and Oreos are my go-to cookie.

Which leads to this.

The Oreo cookies of his youth were no more, and whatever replaced them tasted like dirt. It was a bold opinion, but he had talking points. Oreos tasted “chalky,” he said, “flavorless,” and “they’re made in Mexico now.” That last point is half-true, but still, America’s favorite cookie switches up its recipe and there isn’t a national outcry?…

I turned to the internet. Reddit was annoyingly quiet on the topic, but when I typed “Oreo cookies taste” into Google, the first autofill was “different.” The top result of that search is a Facebook comment from July that read, “The Oreos suddenly taste different. Like cheap cookies with that disgusting undertaste.” It was posted on Oreos’ official Facebook page from a woman in Texas — and Oreos replied that they hadn’t made any changes to the recipe.

Really, this is ridiculous.

A federal judge on Tuesday blocked any attempt by the Trump administration to withhold funding from “sanctuary cities” that do not cooperate with U.S. immigration authorities, saying the president has no authority to attach new conditions to federal spending…

. And even if he could, the conditions would have to be clearly related to the funds at issue and not coercive…

So that’s the state of American jurisprudence?

Huh. Why they’re not related at all! Why, it looks as if this judge just doesn’t like what the law says so he’s saying it’s something else entirely!

Which leads me to an idea. DC wants to be a state, I’m agin that, but states don’t have to be contiguous (I haven’t checked the Constitution, but at this point, what difference does it make?), so we make 3 new states.

DC into MD, NYC, with NY state up to, and including, Dutchess County, and Lawn Guyland and Philly are one state.

Chicago, St. Louis and..I don’t know, maybe Indianapolis are another.

L.A., Sacramento and San Fran are the third.

Sure, lefties would get 6 more senators, but NY, Ill and CA would have seriously good chances of not voting Dem. In NY it wouldn’t make much difference, but eventually some conservatives might break the slimy, corrup, GOP’s stranglehold on state politics. So the Dems would lose 6 senators. That’s a wash.

The House would stay the same just with different names, but Winner Take All primaries would mean the Dems would not get upstate NY and the rest of CA and probably Illinois. MD outside the Chevy Chase area is fairly conservative, not sure how much that would change MD, but it couldn’t hurt.

Seems like a good idea to me.

The cops — members of a “saturation” team working to suppress violence in West Humboldt Park — said they pulled over the car in April 2014 because its taillights weren’t working. But when the police checked the names of everyone in the car, they learned that Franklin, a 45-year-old who struggled with a heroin habit, was on parole for drug possession. And they said one of the other passengers was a “self-admitted” member of the Four Corner Hustlers street gang.

To the officers, that meant Franklin had committed a crime just by sitting in the car: “unlawful contact” with a gang member while on parole. In Illinois, that’s an offense punishable by up to a year behind bars, even if no other crimes or gang activity occurred.

Yeah see, I get he’s a bad guy. But if I’m sitting in the back seat and a cop asks for my ID he can pound sand. I’ll probably end up in jail, but fuck him.

I’m sitting in a car, he has no fucking reason to Demand My Papers Please, with or without a German or Russian accent.

Now if Chicago let their law-abiding citizens keep and bear arms, if they didn’t give 2 months or suspended sentence to an armed mugger, in other words, if the justice system actually did something useful, they wouldn’t have to ignore the Constitution to do their jobs.

Hillary, on the other hand, was only a “strong, experienced candidate” to our fine media betters. The rest of America just doesn’t like that bitch.

It’s mostly the same stuff about Clintons but this is funny.

According to “Shattered,” after a year spent crisscrossing the country, “Hillary still couldn’t figure out why Americans were so angry.”

You know that whenever anybody said anything about weakening America around the world, killing coal and other anti-blue-collar worker stuff or illegal immigration she told that staffer to stop reading Stormfront.

So how many centuries of jail time did these corrupt NY pols and their bribers get?

Twenty people pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of giving unlawful gratuities or attempting to “reward official misconduct.”

Most of them were sentenced to community service. Even many who pleaded to felonies did not receive jail time…

Exactly. It’s not as if they put more than 10 rounds into their magazine or bought cigs in NJ.

 

In Chicago and Illinois they often throw out of power pols into jail, in NY, well, they do too sometimes, but it’s usually not the norm.

Imagine trying to explain this to say, Ben Franklin or Tom Paine. That’s a site called, “Law Officer”, I assume it’s for cops.

So Providence pols passed a law and the cops are upset. I’ll be in italics.

Here are some of the items that the future victims of Providence Crime need to be aware of:

  1. Traffic stops can no longer be used as probable cause to investigate further criminal activity. (Good. I don’t see how me having a broken tail light means you can give me a tonsillectomy by going in through my ass.)

  2. Police may not ask for identification more than once including “police may not consider an individual’s lack of proof of identification or failure to respond to a request for identifying information as probable cause or reasonable suspicion of criminal activity.” (Good. Your Papers Please! annoys me. Show me the law that says I need to carry ID to make a cop happy)

  3. Police may not photograph anyone below the age of 18 and if a photo (under certain guidelines) is allowed, it must be destroyed in 90 days. (Why are cops photographing anybody? if you have a mugshot, that’s one thing)

  4. “Police may not inquire about an individual’s immigration status.” (Good, if that’s before being arrested, See #2, not good if it’s after)

  5. There is an entire appeal process for anyone listed as a gang member to not be listed as a gang member.  (Oh no! You mean if you cops make a mistake someone can get off your list? This makes me wonder what official status this “gang list” has. I can see having it listed on his mugsheet that he’s been connected with gang activity but what’s the ‘gang list’? Unless you’re going after a specific gang and need a list of its members.)

  6. “If an individual has no convictions within a two-year period after their name has been placed on the “gang list,” and no new evidence meeting the criteria for inclusion on the “gang list” has been found, the name shall be removed and all related records destroyed.” (I’m not sure what this ‘gang list’ is, but if it has official status, I’d like to see the statute that gives it that status. If it’s like the No-Fly list, well, I don’t like “Lists” that restrict freedom that do not involve convictions)

 

I really don’t like 1 and 2 and that “gang list” sort of scares me.

Beginning on February 12, 2014 regime agents shot Bassil Alejandro Dacosta, age 24 in the head. One of the young students who carried Bassil off after he was shot was Robert Redman, age 28, who reported later that day over twitter: “Today I was hit with a rock in the back, a helmet in my nose. I swallowed tear-gas, Carried the kid who died, and what did you do?” That same day he was also gunned down by Maduro’s colectivos, working in concert with his security forces, and murdered. The killings continued.

Does that show collusion? I mean, it’s California and they were stopping speech CA doesn’t like, but I sometimes like to think about what a country with a rule of law and a Constitution would do.

 

It’s funny how our worldly lefties just do not understand the rest of the world.  Fake black person goes to Africa, Africans do not think it’s funny that whitey claims to be black.

So what the fuck is going on in America these days? The fucking left has done so much to destroy our nation they’ve finally managed to make us Weimar Germany. The fucking brownshirts are out to stop anybody they disagree with. This is about that Berkeley protest where the Anti-Fa (fascists) went with the express purpose of attacking people they disagree with.

Those Nike batting helmets are light, but they work! I took a rock to the top of my head yesterday that probably would have had me out.We also tested it before the saturday with a could of good smacks to the sides and back with both dowels and 1x3s. The impact jerked your head, but it protected against the pain and did a reasonable job of getting the blow to skate along the curves of the helmet…

Gloves are necessary as well. I started out with my motorcycle gloves, but lost them when I took them off to put some gauze on the fellow (who was) smack(ed) with the soda. Even though I didn’t take a hit in the hands, I still learned why I needed them after the rally when I was heading back home. I didn’t get pepper sprayed directly, but I did go through the clouds a couple of times and helped a few guys holding their head back when they were getting their eyes washed out. Pepper spray residue was all over my hands and when I took off my mask, helmet and goggles, I instinctively wiped my lips. Noob mistake that would have been mitigated if I was wearing gloves. I’m glad there were no cameras to capture my “it’s too spicy” dance.

Before the brawling began, officers stationed themselves at the entrances to downtown’s “Peace Park.” They searched bags and confiscated all sorts of items that could be used for fighting: a stun gun, shields, poles, sticks, knives, mace, bear spray. Even “weaponized Pepsi” — soda cans filled with concrete.

I wonder who was carrying that stuff? I’m gonna bet most of the weapons were from the fascist leftists, they were the ones using clubs and pepper spray after all.

Around 11:15 a.m., someone in the crowd threw what would be the one of many flashbang grenades deployed throughout the day. The orange mesh fence was quickly trampled and a brawl broke out.

After nearly two hours of street fights near the park, the momentum shifted when the crack of a flashbang sounded, followed by another loud explosion that filled the air with smoke. The AntiFa demonstrators ran north toward Berkeley Square, with the alt-right supporters in pursuit.

Alt-right is so you know who the bad guy is.

But read that again, 2 hours of rioting.

You know them Trump supporters are all Confederates! don’t you? They left out which side used it, but when today’s totally tolerant fascists hear “Civil War” they think Confederates and their Dem forebearers losing their slaves.

The groups continued to spar in Downtown Berkeley in the midst of oncoming traffic and Saturday brunchers. Cars caught in the fray tried to drive through as hundreds filled the intersection at Shattuck and Center. Two bicycle cops finally closed the two northbound lanes but left southbound ones open for the next half hour, despite the continuing flow of demonstrators making their way toward the intersection.

Why did nobody stop this?

Where were the police? Why were they allowing these fascists to shut down others’ free speech? Because it’s free speech the State of California is against. Duh.

Other than closing the intersection for traffic, Berkeley police didn’t actually intervene in the scuffle until much later, around 3:30pm. By then, the numbers had thinned and the crowd’s energy was waning.

Oh, our fine fascist foot-soldiers are done? Let’s get to clearing this up!

The statement also emphasized that Berkeley Police “and the City as a whole worked to protect people’s right to free speech and simultaneously keep people safe,” a sentiment reiterated by Officer White. Still, police were virtually absent for hours throughout what’s now being called “The Battle of Berkeley.”

Who you gonna believe? The fires and destruction around our fine, tolerant city or our selfless police who were just trying to let their fascists shut up the haters?
