Now, I like Second City Cop blog, but I gotta disagree on this. It’s related to the previous post’s comment on police being upset about not being able to search and demand Papers from all and sundry.

The cops — members of a “saturation” team working to suppress violence in West Humboldt Park — said they pulled over the car in April 2014 because its taillights weren’t working. But when the police checked the names of everyone in the car, they learned that Franklin, a 45-year-old who struggled with a heroin habit, was on parole for drug possession. And they said one of the other passengers was a “self-admitted” member of the Four Corner Hustlers street gang.

To the officers, that meant Franklin had committed a crime just by sitting in the car: “unlawful contact” with a gang member while on parole. In Illinois, that’s an offense punishable by up to a year behind bars, even if no other crimes or gang activity occurred.

Yeah see, I get he’s a bad guy. But if I’m sitting in the back seat and a cop asks for my ID he can pound sand. I’ll probably end up in jail, but fuck him.

I’m sitting in a car, he has no fucking reason to Demand My Papers Please, with or without a German or Russian accent.

Now if Chicago let their law-abiding citizens keep and bear arms, if they didn’t give 2 months or suspended sentence to an armed mugger, in other words, if the justice system actually did something useful, they wouldn’t have to ignore the Constitution to do their jobs.

Just like Stop and Frisk in NYC. I don’t care how many “bad people” it caught.

We all laughed at the Patriots fact-checking the NY Times’ ass when a NY Times journolister tried to get Trump riled up.

But what that really shows is that the first thing this journolister did when he saw a story that didn’t bash Trump was to try to figure out a way to bash Trump with it.

I’m not sure how many times they’ve run that op-ed, but they could/should have run it every day during the Age Of Obama.

It starts off with, I’d say, something that just isn’t so.

Since losing the most winnable presidential election in modern American history, Hillary Clinton

2000 had that distinction.

Al Gore should have destroyed W in 2000, it shouldn’t have even been close. VP of a popular POTUS who had presided over a great economy and The End Of History!!!! and he still lost it.

Hell, if the Dems had nominated an actual presidential candidate in 2004 instead of another animatronic candidate they could have beat Bush.

Hillary, on the other hand, was only a “strong, experienced candidate” to our fine media betters. The rest of America just doesn’t like that bitch.

It’s mostly the same stuff about Clintons but this is funny.

According to “Shattered,” after a year spent crisscrossing the country, “Hillary still couldn’t figure out why Americans were so angry.”

You know that whenever anybody said anything about weakening America around the world, killing coal and other anti-blue-collar worker stuff or illegal immigration she told that staffer to stop reading Stormfront.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. described a two-year probe that uncovered various bribery schemes, many involving expediters who paid off high-ranking bosses, clerks and inspectors in return for favors such as dismissing violations. The city staffers were charged with accepting more than $400,000 from the expediters, who act as middlemen for developers and builders, and from others.

Vance proudly proclaimed that all were indicted on felony counts, which carried maximum sentences of up to 15 years in prison.

City Department of Investigation Commissioner Mark Peters, whose agency participated in the probe, said at the time that the accused “did New York City real harm and now they must face the criminal-justice system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1” (Emphasis me. I may have added an exclamation point too V)…

 

So how many centuries of jail time did these corrupt NY pols and their bribers get?

Twenty people pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of giving unlawful gratuities or attempting to “reward official misconduct.”

Most of them were sentenced to community service. Even many who pleaded to felonies did not receive jail time…

Exactly. It’s not as if they put more than 10 rounds into their magazine or bought cigs in NJ.

 

In Chicago and Illinois they often throw out of power pols into jail, in NY, well, they do too sometimes, but it’s usually not the norm.

Doctor accused of telling patient sex with him will help her MS

A hospital specialist who had sex with a patient told her it was therapy, saying: “Trust me, I’m a doctor,” a tribunal heard.

A&E medic Kwame Somuah-Boateng, 43, bedded the woman in his sleeping quarters after she went to casualty with numb legs and was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

The patient, in her 30s, told a disciplinary hearing he claimed it would help her regain feeling, especially in her private parts.

That’s fucking cruel. Giving false hope for that disease shows a total lack of empathy and disregard for other people.
