Now back to our post on…uhhhh….. I don’t remember. It was probably something stupid. It’s been that kind of month.
So my post on Fake News Rules! made Writer Beat.I had this in my post

Who are the “Current” officials? Why are they anonymous? Why should we trust them? Why should we trust the Wash Post? After the last week of wall-to-wall lies followed by corrections or just memory-holing.

and got this comment.

You should trust them based on review and track record.  If the Washington Post quotes anonymous sources and the information they post is deemed to be false, people wouldn’t trust the Washington Post.  It’s too reputable a newspaper to publish anonymous unverified information.

Why should we trust the Wash Post?

Because most of their reporting is accurate.

More than 10 years ago I stopped responding to comments like this. Why bother? Anybody who could write that has never paid any attention to anybody who’s pointed out the many lies, obfuscations, stealth edits and non-correction corrections over the last decades. He either never read anybody who points out the Wash Post’s many lies or he refuses to accept that they’re valid enough to rebut.

I’ll respond to most comments but I try to never try to reason someone out of position they were not reasoned into. That is a lesson I really don’t want to learn ever again.

 

I like this blog, there aren’t many readers and most of you can’t be assed to comment, but I actually prefer that. I could cuss less, I could try to get people to link me instead of discouraging it, but then I’d have to deal with people again. Look at Beppe Grillo, his readers got him to run for office… and win! That’s the kind of shit I don’t need.

I don’t blog here to convince, persuade or argue or do anything but analyze what’s going on. Looking back at my posts I see a lot of what I said being accurate and leading to what I said it would lead to. Except my Veeshir Veerless Vredictions and Veeshir Vearless Vredictions. Those really suck. While I was right in 2012 that Trump wasn’t running I couldn’t have been more wrong in 2016.

I bang these things out in as little time as possible. I’ve only recently started reading them over before I hit post. If I were trying to do anything important I’d do this much differently. Hell, I’d probably try to make money off it. And work on my punctuation. And stop beginning sentences with conjunctions. But I’m not trying to do anything important, just trying to get shit off my chest and give others a chance to vent or see they aren’t alone.

Oh, and also to point and laugh at the absolute idiocy of our current crop of Elite!s.

 

 

Too bad this ain’t funny. It is really stupid in concept considering the next sentence.

Four men were booked in Rajanpur on Saturday for their involvement in a Panchayat (unofficial village court) declaring a teenage girl, who was allegedly raped by a relative, a ‘Kari’.

The 19-year-old girl was ordered to be either killed or sold off on charges of adultery levelled against her, the area’s police said.

Fazilpur police SHO Husnain Shah told The Express Tribune that the girl approached the police following the order.

In her statement, the girl claimed that she and her family were asleep at their home on Friday night when Khaleel Ahmed sneaked inside and raped her at gunpoint.

And she blamed social media sites for not more aggressively policing inaccurate stories, and voters who held her to different standards because there had never been a woman president before.

She takes Responsibility! but it’s not her fault.

So….I got the new fuel pump installed. The car finally stays running while idling in line for the emissions place.

People who are doing their best to not defend Western Civilization are telling Trump not do what’s good for America, but what’s good for its enemies.

“The greatest task today is the consolidation of the whole free world around those values, and not just interests.”

No really, he said that. As EUnuchs are siding with Palestinian savages against Israel, they’re calling on Trump to defend “Western values”, which apparently mean shitting on western civilization.

I will admit that I’m rooting against both sides in this dispute. Why?

Anti-capitalism is a deal-breaker for me. Also, most of the other stuff are really just happy euphemisms for “we hate western civilization and our daddies” so I’m pretty much rooting for the Jew-hater. I mean, if you’re going to be an anti-freedom asshole, don’t whine about others wanting to be anti-different freedom than what you’re against.

 

It’s funny how often a question I’ve asked is even more funnier when asked by a lefty.

Ousted FBI Director James Comey must be held accountable for creating a presidential election frenzy over “fake” intelligence, one top Republican senator said Sunday.

“If he intervened in the election based on fake information generated by the Russians, that was an incredibly incompetent thing to do,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

The document was Russian intelligence that purported to show that then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch was compromised. It referenced an alleged email between former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and a political operative, Leonard Benardo, about reassurances Lynch had made to not let the FBI investigation go too far.

Graham wants further investigation on the alleged email and possibly further sanctions on Russia.

So the head of the FBI cleared a wrongdoer because he thought the head of the DO”J” wanted him to illegally do so and Lyndsey Fucking Graham is mad at Russia.

Now, I don’t believe a word of this whole, ridiculous story. I sincerely doubt Lynch was subtle at all in telling Comey the outcome demanded in this Tom Sawyer investigation.

The December meeting was previously known about because Flynn was forced out of his job as a result of meeting with Kislyak. They also quote people “familiar with the matter” who are sure they’re going to investigate this!

The whole Post article is full of innuendo and assertions by unnamed officials and that Examiner article doesn’t even make that clear. Isn’t that libel? Don’t they have to write, “allegedly” or something? If we were in the universe where important lefties were treated like the hoi polloi I mean. Obviously not in this one.

It should send the Wash Post further into controversy as it attempts to explain why it keeps using anonymous officials as the sole sources in supposed hard news articles.

The FISA court called it a “very serious Fourth Amendment issue” that NSA analysts — in violation of a 2011 rule change prohibiting officials from searching Americans’ information without a warrant — “had been conducting such queries in violation of that prohibition, with much greater frequency than had been previously disclosed to the Court.”

A number of those searches were made from the White House, and included private citizens working for the Trump campaign, some of whose identities were leaked to the media. The revelations earned a stern rebuke from the ACLU and from civil-liberties champion Sen. Rand Paul.

We also learned this week that Obama intelligence officials really had no good reason attaching a summary of a dossier on Trump to a highly classified Russia briefing they gave to Obama just weeks before Trump took office.

Under congressional questioning Tuesday, Obama’s CIA chief John Brennan said the dossier did not “in any way” factor into the agency’s assessment that Russia interfered in the election. Why not? Because as Obama intel czar James Clapper earlier testified, “We could not corroborate the sourcing.”…

In so doing, Brennan virtually guaranteed that it would be leaked, which it promptly was.

In short, Brennan politicized raw intelligence. In fact, he politicized the entire CIA.

We didn’t really learn the bolded part this week, it just became impossible to ignore.

Little has been made public by Capitol Police on what exactly is being investigated; news reports in recent months have linked Awan, several of his relatives, and his wife to some type of Capitol Hill investigation that could involve stolen property and more.

The second and more insidious element here is the innuendo. Yates never says Flynn was a spy for Russia. … she told Lizza, Flynn was “compromised by the Russians.” This sounds far more sinister than…

…dropped by former CIA director John Brennan. …. “Frequently, people who go along a treasonous path do not know they are on a treasonous path until it is too late,” he warned.

And some people, like Brennan, are no doubt fully aware of the treasonous path they’re treading. Cuz they didn’t like who won the last election and the We’re Better And Smarter Than You Party is above the law.

Contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian individuals “raised questions in my mind about whether Russia was able to gain the cooperation of those individuals.” This cooperation could be “witting” or “unwitting,” he cautioned.

So…Hillary is let off because she didn’t mean to break the law while Flynn’s actions “raised questions” but were possibly (read: probably) ‘unwitting’. We know who our fine intelligence betters are going after.

Now, it’s entirely possible that the government will charge Flynn and other Trump associates with high crimes. This would be a political disaster for the president. But at least if the government does present such charges, Flynn will have the opportunity to defend himself. In the interim, if that day ever comes, Flynn must follow the advice of his lawyers and keep quiet.

Only the NYTimesWashPostCNNABCCBSNBCFoxnewsetc. will charge and convict him. That’s the point. That’s why Comey Is Going To Testify!!!!! not right away. But Real Soon!!!!!!! So they can keep trying to weaken the man they hate. And if America gets screwed over that? Well that’s our fault for voting for that fascist!

This is not how it’s supposed to work. Normally if a U.S. official is suspected of treason, the government collects evidence before hinting to the public what it might be seeking evidence about.

In VA and NY, I’m in the car business and know mechanics who work for booze and grilled steaks and taters, out here I’m at the mercy of these people.

One guy told me I had too much carburetor and I needed to get rid of it and get a different one.

Another guy told me I didn’t have enough carb, I have a Holley 750, and I need to get a different one. I also need a different distributor from the brand new, HEI one that others have said, “That’s awesome!”

 

Personal stuff. My niece is getting married next month at the Wynn in Vegas. I waited too long so I didn’t get in her block of rooms. They also don’t have any rooms with two beds that weekend. I like my buddy, but not that much.

For about $50 more/night I got a sweet suite at the Venetian Palazzo right across a side street from the Wynn. I love the Venetian, it’s just cool. I forgot about Vegas too and boggled when she asked, “Smoking or non-smoking?” “Extra-smoking please.” My buddy chain-smokes and I’ll bring some cigars.

The best part? I’ll be at the wedding and all the events but I won’t be staying in the same hotel as my family.

As George Burns said, happiness is a large, caring, close-knit family staying at a different casino…living in another state.

I’ve seen some people talking and writing about this Wash Post story but I haven’t seen the most important take-aways.

The document, obtained by the FBI, described how the Attorney General at the time, Loretta Lynch, had privately assured a Clinton campaign member that the email investigation would not go too far, the Post reported.

Receipt of the document then allegedly helped influence the July decision by then-FBI Director James Comey to announce on his own, without the Justice Department’s involvement, that the investigation into Clinton was finished and that no charges against Clinton would be forthcoming.

So… in other words, the director of the FBI dropped an investigation because he thought the head of the Dept. of “Justice” thought he should.

Let’s see, that means that the director of the FBI thought it likely, not just plausible, that the top law enforcement person in the US would try to influence an investigation. In other words, he thought the rule of law in America was over and done where important Democrats are concerned. Just like anybody paying attention for 8 years!

Said director of the FBI then gave the result he thought his masters wanted. Just like we all thought!

It appears that the director of the FBI therefore thinks there was a reason for investigation. Just like much of the country! Hence, President Trump.

And let’s touch on the Most Surprising Thing Of The Day! Now that there’s non-anonymously-sourced Comey news what’s CNN interested in? Not Comey!

A sheriff saying that if you import people from terroristy areas you’re going to get terrorism is ‘controversial’.

As our fine social, moral, political and intellectual betters are telling us terrorism is just something we’ll have to deal with. Why should two sets of people who look at the same thing and say the same thing be treated so differently?

A sheriff noticing that the reaction is always the same, worrying about moderate Muslims, the True Victims of the attack, lighting up the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben and apologizing for how our western values radicalized this misbegotten soul and he’s “controversial”. That’s bass ackwards.

Also, this is in Texas. A Texas sheriff has to defend, in his words,

Simply stated, almost everyone starts with a “baseline” of big, pre-determined annual spending increases and they whine and wail about “cuts” if spending doesn’t climb as fast as previously assumed.

I really cannot figure out how lefties think but why aren’t they advocating war with Russia?

If I thought that I’d be up in fucking arms demanding we go to war with Russia. Democrats only want to get Trump.

These are the questions that don’t keep me up at night. Who really cares? You treat them like the chubby-fisted, sippy-cup bangers they are either way.

This has never been reported, it was angrily asked back when this shit started, “Do you think Russians changed votes? No? Then shut up.” But since the people in charge of investigating this shit are lying, obfuscating and innuendoing, here we are. In crazy land. With much of America thinking Russia committed an act of war but those people are not mad at Russia, they’re mad at me for voting for Trump. And their daddies. But that’s a whole nother post.

 

CNN finally found some Fake News they cannot get behind!

Fox News staffers expressed frustration on Monday that on-air personalities at their network like prime time host Sean Hannity are continuing to peddle a conspiracy theory about the murder of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich.
“I’m disgusted by it,” one Fox News employee (Hey Shep! V) told CNN.

First, why is Shep Smith talking to CNN instead of reporting on this?

Second, I’m with CNN and Shep on this one. Because there’s no evidence or pattern of Hillary haters being killed conveniently and in odd circumstances! That’s the real crazy talk!

One question, what about all the Dems who believe the fake news that Russians hacked vote totals? Why aren’t you busily exposing that?

I know, they’re fomenting it, but I just like to pretend we’re in a different world sometimes. It’s more restful there. The beer is all European and the sunsets get cool purples almost every night.

 

Let’s take a break from insanity and focus on the real enemy.

It’s a good thing they’re investigating extremists! I mean, just cuz those savages went after a concert filled with young teens at the moment when their parents were there to pick them up doesn’t mean we need to be rude!

Think about that, they blew up their bombs so the children could see their parents blown up and parents could see children blown up and the police are going after someone who doesn’t want it to happen again. She didn’t advocate violence, she said it has to stop.

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t know how to make a bomb. I’m in America so I could get ammo fairly easily and use that I’d guess but I’d be worried about the detonator. All I know about detonators is that I’d want either a very damn long fuse or a useful idiot to test it out. Over there preferably (points out in the desert).

That shit scares me. I don’t mess with electricity either. A man has to know his limitations.

Some channel around here has the Monkees and the Partridge Family on Sunday mornings. I watch them as I’m tubing and coffeeing. I barely remember the shows but I do know every song by heart, sing along and enjoy them.

At least it’s not 80s music.

So yesterday the Partridge Family had a very timely episode.

Keith’s latest girlfriend is a member of a junior women’s lib organization and he volunteers the group to play at one of their rallies without their knowledge. Unfortunately, they soon run afoul of a right wing conservative group that is bent on preventing the rally from taking place. However, Keith soon finds out that taking up a liberal cause is not all that its cracked up to be when his girlfriend threatens to break up with him if the family doesn’t sing from a set list she has prepared rather than their first number-one hit, “I Think I Love You”.

Yes, the song “I think I love you” was…I forget her wording, they didn’t use “Patriarchy” or “heteronormative” and it was tv in 1970 so they weren’t going to say, “rape”.

Basically, saying, “I think I love you” perpetuates stereotypes of male/female interactions putting the woman in the subordinate position, as if her life isn’t complete without a man who loves her.

So she told Keith they had to play only the allowed songs and Keith says

Nobody – *nobody* – censors our material. Censorship is not the path to equal rights.

You tell her! Too bad I’d bet a dollar any of the surviving stars, writers and producers feel somewhat differently today. I could be wrong about that, Elton John did tell the murderous commie dictators in China to suck his dick. In a bad way.
