So how do the two parties treat Americans?

Let’s start with the Dems.

Hillary blames her election loss on: her pet media, debate monitors not asking her some questions about some made-up, fantasy, saved-or-created jobs she created, the FBI, misogyny, the laughable idea that Putin apparently preferred the unknown Trump (who probably has bribed Putin) to the often and easily bribed Clinton, he’s been bribing Clintons since the 90s, and more. I’m sure I’m missing a few.

In other words, it had nothing to do with her, it’s all the voter’s fault for not recognizing her greatness and everybody else’s fault for not letting the idiot voters know.

A visual representation

On the other side of the aisle, we have the GOP we keep electing to get rid of Obamacare, do something about our porous borders and stop lax enforcement of laws against lefty-approved folks.

So how are they doing?

They’re getting right on Building That Wall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laura Ingraham: One thing I know for sure, Sean, is that we have way too many people on Capitol Hill who are not on the president’s side of this. I’m talking Republicans. So I have no doubt in my mind that Donald Trump wants this wall to be built. Congress has to appropriate the money. I heard over two months ago that GOP leadership, the most senior senators on Capitol Hill, and I heard it from someone who was in the room with them, they were laughing at an idea a wall would ever get built. Out loud laughing. They were recently telling that source of mine, “Don’t worry, it’s not going to happen.” (emphasis him, V)

Oh, but they have been getting right on repealing Obamacare!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Several Republicans have come out Monday against the current measure to repeal and replace Obamacare, bringing CNN’s whip count to 21 Republicans — mostly moderates — opposed to the bill with at least 17 lawmakers still undecided.

Moderates are against it? It’s hard to figure out, but I think this is it

Pressed further, Trump said that “we actually have a clause that guarantees” coverage for those with pre-existing conditions. Trump also said the health care legislation is “changing.”
Unlike the mandate under Obamacare, however, under the GOP bill insurers could charge them higher rates than others in the plan if they allow their coverage to lapse.

So in other words, it seems moderates are against introducing even a little sanity into the gov’t take-over of my life is DOA.

A visual representation of how the GOP has treated me over the last few elections with coming attractions for the next few elections no matter who we vote for.

Here we have Hillary, who only wants what’s best for hersel…America, saying that Trump and Russia colluded on enforcing Obama’s red line.

Sometimes shit comes out of the woods.

I blame the bears.

Okay, this one’s hilarious. 100 days into Trump’s first term we’ve been watching them get more and more ridiculous but seriously, if the left didn’t have crazed hyperbole all they’d have would be violent, smelly, hippies.

Historian Timothy Snyder: “It’s pretty much inevitable” that Trump will try to stage a coup and overthrow democracy.

Geez, at least wait until he’s running for re-election. I mean, it’s not as if you can’t re-use it 4 years later. Heaven knows we all worried about Obama doing the same thing but kept our mouths mostly shut until it was time for a presidential election (or after Hillary lost to Russia…Trump).

Japan’s Peace Constitution Is Under Pressure!!!!!!!!!!!

Japan’s American-written “peace constitution” has survived unchanged for 70 years, but nationalists seeking an overhaul are gearing up for a major new push as concerns grow over North Korean belligerence.

Conservatives have long called for the document they see as a national humiliation to be amended, but current political alignments and growing security concerns suggest they now have their best chance of success.

Yeah see, enweakening Japan was only workable if we were trustworthy in their defense. Since we’re no longer trustworthy (we elected Obama twice and almost elected Hillary after all) they need to be able to defend themselves.

I just hope that if they get all empirey they look at China and don’t start looking for revenge for those two cities.

I don’t like this, but it’s about what I would have expected. Trump is a northeast liberal and has been running in those circles his whole life.

Jared Kushner failed to disclose his ownership of a real estate startup linked to Goldman Sachs and George Soros, according to a report Tuesday.

Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and top adviser, didn’t note on his government financial disclosure form that he is a part-owner of real estate finance firm Cadre, which matches investors with real estate projects, the Wall Street Journal reported.

If you’re involved in big money, you’re involved with all the same people.

I have no hopes for the GOP doing anything useful, I’m still hoping that Trump undoes as much of Obama’s law breaking…making as possible but not accepting he’s Rudy Giuliani with more business sense is just not paying attention.

The Post does say bad things about Dems, but they also go after Trump pretty hard.

Headline

Trump’s comment about breaking up banks jolts markets

Body of article that shows headline to be misleading at best and fake-news at normal.

In an interview at the Oval Office, Trump told Bloomberg News that he was “looking into” reviving the Glass-Steagall Act, a law that kept separate commercial and investment banks.

A revival of Glass-Steagall, which he described as “the old system,” has been a feature of Trump’s agenda since at least August, when it was on the Republican Party’s platform, and has been discussed by high-level White House surrogates…

When Bloomberg’s ultra-fast headline wire service reported the story, however, that nuance had been lost: “TRUMP SAYS HE’S ACTIVELY CONSIDERING BREAKING UP BIG BANKS,” (emphasis me this time, V)

So what you’re saying is that his statement was misreported (totally accidentally I’m sure), and yet your headline blames it on Trump.

Never change Never Trumpers.

Can you say Revenue Generation?

Almost Every Speed Limit Is Too Low. “Traffic engineers believe that the 85th percentile speed is the ideal speed limit because it leads to the least variability between driving speeds and therefore safer roads. When the speed limit is correctly set at the 85th percentile speed, the minority of drivers that do conscientiously follow speed limits are no longer driving much slower than the speed of traffic. The choice of the 85th percentile speed is a data-driven conclusion—as noted lieutenant Megge and speed limit resources like the Michigan State Police’s guide—that has been established by the consistent findings of years of traffic studies. Yet most speed limits are set below the 85th percentile speed.”

I knew that you could. Safety is not the point, getting the maximum blood from our stones is.

I was wrong about one thing, apparently Congress is doing something about a signature Obama priority!

The Post-9/11 GI Bill has been formally put on the chopping block in effort to free up funds needed cover roughly $108 billion worth of student loans being forgiven by the federal government, sources confirmed today.

While millions of debt-saddled young college graduates breathed a sigh of relief, the Department of Defense announced that as of January 1, 2018, the GI Bill will be no more – meaning service members and veterans alike will have to cough up their own money for higher education.

The move comes as Congress and student veteran groups had been debating an improvement to the current GI Bill program which would have “taxed” troops out of their paycheck to pay for higher education. Instead, leaders decided to get rid of the entire program in favor of helping everyone except veterans, in keeping with standard operating procedure.

If only that were less likely it would be a lot funnier.

So what have we learned? Not a blessed thing.

I refuse to leave it at that! Let’s me put some geography learnin’ on your ass!

There’s a pass in the Urals that’s perfect for motor-boating.
No, really. I always thought it was cold and snowy but if you look on this map you’ll see a warm and inviting pass in the Urals perfect for motor-boating!

You can tell it’s not cold by the lack of peaks.

… i wonder how much money it took to lure her out of the woods… it had been $200k after her secretarial job…

    • Veeshir says:

We need someone to lure her back into the woods.
What we need are a bunch of creepy clowns with enough cash to bribe a Clinton.
That’s gonna be expensive, Clinton’s might be easy but they ain’t cheap.
