I am going to live in a trailer park. Words I thought I’d never say. No, really. But when they raised my rent I decided to move and found out that I would have to pay $700+ to live some place I’d want to live. So I started looking at trailers, you buy the trailer and lease the spot it’s on, or move the trailer for $10k I guess. So I found one in Tempe for $10k with new appliances and in very good shape in a nice park near 101, 202, the Cubs spring training and Mesa Riverwalk park, it’s $500+/month. I took care of the paperwork for a background check for the park today so I just tubed shortly this morning.
I saw on CNN or Foxnews about the Wash Post’s BIG SCOOP!
Oops, wrong scoop(s).
Current and former U.S. officials, supposedly concerned that President Trump had shared some “highly classified information” with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador to the U.S. last week, leaked that information to the Washington Post in an article published Monday.
That raises so many questions. First, what is the Wash Post going to do when this sack of lies falls apart? How about CNN? How about Foxnews?
In addition, his national security adviser, who was at the meeting, told the Post nothing was shared that was not already publicly known…
McMaster later told reporters at the White House, “Other senior officials who were present, including the secretary of state, remember the meeting the same way and have said so. Their on-the-record accounts should outweigh those of anonymous sources. I was in the room, it didn’t happen.”
I know who I trust, and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone in that. Anonymous sources haven’t had a good week in DC. Well, except for whoever leaked the HORRIFIC NEWS that Trump gets two scoops of ice cream.
Nother question, notice who is “concerned”, “…former U.S. officials”. How do former U.S. officials know anything about what’s going on now? Was the classified information from when they were still U.S. officials or from after? Isn’t it a felony if they do know anything? Why isn’t there an independent counsel investigating this? We Demand Answers!
More nother questions, Who are the “Current” officials? Why are they anonymous? Why should we trust them? Why should we trust the Wash Post? After the last week of wall-to-wall lies followed by corrections or just memory-holing.
Chicken fucking from the Post article.
One day after dismissing Comey, Trump welcomed Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ambassador Sergey Kislyak — a key figure in earlier Russia controversies
Squwark!
This is my favorite part
As president, Trump has broad authority to declassify government secrets, making it unlikely that his disclosures broke the law.
You know it killed them to write that even if they did include the weasel phrase about how it’s unlikely he broke the law. If you take out everything between the comma and the period that sentence is accurate, if over-commaed. Fakenewsers gonna fakenews.
Since I’m worked up and the “new post” is right here, might as well do some more links.
Paco links an article about how the attorney explaining how Trump is evil is defending honor killing.
I finally clicked through and read the pdf of Trump’s order.
Reading it you realize that everything everybody said against it is a lie, distortion or just stupidity. Or all three I guess. Yeah, that’s the way to bet.
It starts out talking about the previous order that a different judge’s politics struck down, then explains he doesn’t want people from terrorist countries, terrorist countries that are our avowed enemies and terrorist countries that do not have anything resembling an even decent central gov’t. Then, he explains he’s going to ” collect and make publicly available the following information: ” on illegal actions of foreign nationals in America.
I figure that was the real sin. Noticing and telling people certain things are very bad in lefto-fascist world.
A few years ago a building in Minneapolis blew up in a suspicious manner. After much searching, I found that the building was full of young Somali men and had a halal grocery and mosque in it. The FBI said “gas”, the gas company said, “not gas”, they razed the building immediately so there was no investigation. I figured it looked like a work accident and everybody involved acted as if they were covering up a work accident but I couldn’t be sure.
In today’s exciting episode, we see that it might not have been a work-accident, but it’s not for not trying.
Minneapolis police uncovered an arsenal of guns and bomb-making devices during a routine arrest last week…
nside, the officers found a hand grenade, handgun, assault rifles and magazines and a large quantity of ammunition, the complaint said. They also found cellphones, computers and electronics equipment, including drone parts.
Bomb squad personnel called to the scene noted that the large amount of ammunition and electronic devices could be used for bomb-making, the complaint said.
It’s a good thing those judges are protecting us from Trump!
This scares me though.
Abdullah N. Alrifahe, 27, of Minneapolis, was charged with a gross misdemeanor for carrying a pistol in public without a permit. In December, he was convicted of the same offense.
It could not be determined whether the FBI or another federal agency is investigating.
He had a hand grenade and they charged him with a misdeameanor.
I can’t even get a dam hand grenade and this guy can. Sonomabatch.
Sometimes I hate being a, generally, law-abiding person.
I wouldn’t click the linkbait article he links, but here’s a puppy blender link.
THE IDEA OF “GENDER” IS ITSELF A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT: Why We Should Stop Using the Term ‘Gender.’
There are people, influential people, who nod and agree. People who think I’m anti-science because I don’t believe in global worming.
Gender is a social construct. I actually had plans to explain why that’s so stupid, but I don’t want to insult anybody unnecessarily and if I have to explain it to you then perhaps you are on the wrong blog. Balloon Juice is right over there (points left).
(no, my left)
I posted about the all Muslim-girl prom yesterday, but I thought about something I’d not thought about.
You cannot say, “Merry Christmas” in a school because it’s against Freedom Of Religion!!!!!!!!!!! but you can have an Islamically demanded prom.
WTF? Our national religion is leftism, how did Islam get the same protections?
Via Wirecutter, we see this article that shows I should be more afraid of tweakers.
A man covered in blood, holding a knife and carrying his mother’s severed head walked into an Estacada grocery store and stabbed an employee Sunday
Now, it’s not funny at all but I am a little twisted so…if your mom is upset you didn’t get her the right flowers yesterday you can tell her at least you didn’t chop off her head before going to the supermarket to look for cheap flowers. Puts things in perspective.
… my uncle had a place in a trailer park in upstate ny… an affordable weekend getaway… and i know a few young couples who found them an affordable alternative to apartment life in high cost areas… a lot of real americans live in them… i recognized my elitist bias against trailer parks a while back and tried to get over it… if you’re paying $500 for the lot rent and trailer mortgage its not bad… unless unless you’re stuck paying for it and can’t get it sold…
Upstate NY trailer parks are why I never wanted to live in one.
And yes, I have an elitist bias against them but here I am, going to live in one.
“sex” has to do with whether one is male or female. “Gender” is a linguistic term. In some languages, nouns are assigned gender, even for non living things, and identified by their spelling.
Strictly speaking, gender is a social construct
Gender in people is genitalia based. There are two genders and two genitalia. It’s sort of a yin/yang thing.
Gender in words is not social, it’s linguistic, as you note.
… “theKivunjo language has sixteen genders. These include genders for precise and general locations, clusters or pairs of objects and abstract qualities”
” It appears that there was a modern, consistent effort to confuse these terms and concepts, initiated in the 1950s by the now-discredited sexologist John Money, who made a career out of promoting the indeterminacy and social construction of human sexuality, resulting in the famous and tragic John Reimer case. Reimer, injured as an infant in a botched circumcision, was raised under Money’s advice and guidance by his parents as if he were a biological girl.”
“More troublesome still was the role of social constructionist and androgynous feminists in the 1970s who embraced Money’s work as confirmation of their own ideologically driven anti-biology agenda of post-“gender” utopia.”
so… “gender” is to a social constructionist what “climate change” is to the global wormist and “women’s healthcare” is to abortion advocates… just a linguistical way to confuse and obfuscate…
cunning linguists…
