Telekinetic Squirrels and Oyster Herpes Are Looking Reasonable About Now

A few years ago I wrote a totally ridiculous post about telekinetic squirrels and oyster herpes.

As Rachel Lucas says,

It is to the point that writing about the news is like writing about telekinetic squirrels.

In other words, it can’t possibly even be real, so writing about it feels creepy, pointless, and silly.

I’ve noticed that Certain People think that because I am not on American soil, I might not be aware of U.S. news. I keep telling those people that I have the internet. Sadly for me, I’m indeed following all the crazy shit going on, and the only reason I don’t blog about it six times a day is because IT IS INSANE, OH MY GOD, WHAT THE HELL?

I’m with you. But I’m pretty creepy, I love pointless and you have to accept the silly with the scary.

And then we got to oyster herpes, which they’re blaming on global worming instead of promiscuous oysters!

Which is a lot less ridiculous than my tubin this morning.

Welcome to the party pal.

Some of America’s top intelligence officials are expressing frustration at the wave of media hysteria that has greeted reports that President Trump may have shared sensitive intelligence with top Russian diplomats last week, with some saying a handful of news organizations are guilty of hyping what amounts to a nonstory.

The deuce you say! Why, it’s almost as if there’s a reason so many people are talking about all the fakenews!?!?!?!?!?

The way to be informed, to figure out what’s going on is try to check stuff out to see if there’s corroboration or you can just see if it accurately describes past events in making its case. (the federalist isn’t working for me so here’s a quote from vodkapundit linking it at the puppy blender’s)

In this account, Comey’s actions showcase a duplicitous, secretive schemer whose true loyalties were not to the officials to whom he reported, but to partisan Democrats like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.). To fully understand and appreciate Jim Comey’s approach to politics, the writings and testimony of Alberto Gonzales, who served as both White House counsel and attorney general during the events in question and is intimately aware of Comey’s history of political maneuvering, is absolutely essential.

If we go by what we’ve seen of Comey I’m gonna have to say, Veeshir Vact Check: True!

The whole thing was ridiculous and is becoming dangerous as our fine betters sputter with faux outrage designed to thwart the last election they really did not like.

These people would be indignant if I pointed and laughed.

Alt-left advocates for net neutrality, who say they want a “free and open internet,” want to ban the Drudge Report…

Protect Our Internet claims its mission is to “keep the internet vibrant, free and equal.”

The campaign also claims net neutrality rules are “protecting our freedom to use the internet!”

Big Brother would be pointing and laughing at their pathetic use of orwellian language.

I agree with Paul Ryan!

Paul Ryan insists Trump drama isn’t affecting Congress

The question is putting the cart before the whores, Congressional Republicans are affecting the drama around Trump, by pushing it and tut-tutting most vigorously.

Via Babalu blog we see this from the Hill.

When Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos meets with President Trump at the White House on Thursday, May 18, there will be much to discuss — from the financing of the impunity deal with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) to the recent skyrocketing of the cocaine influx into the United States. Yet, Santos will undoubtedly dodge addressing his complicity in the persecution of his own and other political oppositions in our region.

First, I hope not, but how funny is it that the Hill, which can’t be assed to mention  the murderous dictator in Venezuela murderously dictating Teh Peepul, but they’ll happily bash Columbia as becoming as bad.

This is pretty dam cool.

They may be known as as the Golden Age of Dutch art, but with moody expressions and dark hues, these portraits don’t exactly live up to their moniker.

At least until graphic designer Olly Gibbs, 27, from London, used a face-changing app on his phone to plaster them with cheesy grins.

I just like them. Especially this one that looks sorta like me.

Check them all out.

Some times I don’t hate people.
