I’ve seen some people talking and writing about this Wash Post story but I haven’t seen the most important take-aways.

The document, obtained by the FBI, described how the Attorney General at the time, Loretta Lynch, had privately assured a Clinton campaign member that the email investigation would not go too far, the Post reported.

Receipt of the document then allegedly helped influence the July decision by then-FBI Director James Comey to announce on his own, without the Justice Department’s involvement, that the investigation into Clinton was finished and that no charges against Clinton would be forthcoming.

So… in other words, the director of the FBI dropped an investigation because he thought the head of the Dept. of “Justice” thought he should.

Let’s see, that means that the director of the FBI thought it likely, not just plausible, that the top law enforcement person in the US would try to influence an investigation. In other words, he thought the rule of law in America was over and done where important Democrats are concerned. Just like anybody paying attention for 8 years!

Said director of the FBI then gave the result he thought his masters wanted. Just like we all thought!

It appears that the director of the FBI therefore thinks there was a reason for investigation. Just like much of the country! Hence, President Trump.

And let’s touch on the Most Surprising Thing Of The Day! Now that there’s non-anonymously-sourced Comey news what’s CNN interested in? Not Comey!

Surprise!

The NY Times writes all that Trump/Russia stuff is bullshit!

“The information collected last summer was considered credible enough for intelligence agencies to pass to the F.B.I., which during that period opened a counterintelligence investigation that is ongoing,” the paragraph reads. “It is unclear, however, whether Russian officials actually tried to directly influence Mr. Manafort and Mr. Flynn. Both have denied any collusion with the Russian government on the campaign to disrupt the election.”

So… foreign spies tried to suborn elected officials but there’s no proof they were successful.

Wait, you mean foreign spies might try to suborn elected officials!!!!! Why, that’s never happened before in the history of ever!!!!!!!!!! Foreign spies just sit around, drinking martinis and playing baccarat! They would never try to suborn elected officials!

Get out your squeezey bulbs!

GOP voters device

Cuz Trey Gowdy has a fevah and the only prescription is more hearings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R., Seaworld) on Wednesday said government surveillance programs would not receive the necessary congressional reauthorization for them to continue at the end of the year unless officials answer questions on who in the intelligence community unmasked certain individuals.

Now, nobody’s going to answer those questions in open session, cuz they’re all nationally secured, but He’s Going To Ask Questions!!!!!!!!! And Demand Answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Thanks Trey!

What won’t the GOP do? Anything useful!

The president is proposing the most ambitious welfare reform since the 1990s, focusing on requiring able-bodied adults who don’t have children to work in order to receive food stamps…
The work requirement in the president’s 2018 budget will save a whopping $190 billion over the next ten years… part of a larger plan to reform welfare in America.

“We must reform our welfare system so that it does not discourage able-bodied adults from working, which takes away scarce resources from those in real need. Work must be the center of our social policy,” the president wrote in his letter to Congress accompanying his proposed budget.

Not with Susan Collins, John McCain and Lyndsey Graham fighting you toothless and nail you won’t!

There are so many things wrong with this story.

(North Texas Sheriff) Murphree’s Facebook post about 10 p.m. Monday implored Americans to “pay attention to what is happening in Europe.”

“This is what happens when you disarm your citizens,” Murphree wrote. “When you open your borders without the proper vetting. When you allow political correctness to dictate how you respond to an enemy that wants to kill you. When you allow these radicals to travel to Afghanistan and Iran and simply let them back in.”

He later wrote, “You better wake up America. While you are distracted by the media and the crying of the left, Islamic Jihadist are among us and want to kill you.”

Pay attention to what you see in Manchester England tonight. Pay attention to what is happening in Europe. This is…

A sheriff saying that if you import people from terroristy areas you’re going to get terrorism is ‘controversial’.

As our fine social, moral, political and intellectual betters are telling us terrorism is just something we’ll have to deal with. Why should two sets of people who look at the same thing and say the same thing be treated so differently?

A sheriff noticing that the reaction is always the same, worrying about moderate Muslims, the True Victims of the attack, lighting up the Eiffel Tower and Big Ben and apologizing for how our western values radicalized this misbegotten soul and he’s “controversial”. That’s bass ackwards.

Also, this is in Texas. A Texas sheriff has to defend, in his words,

“I stand behind it,” Denton County Sheriff Tracy Murphree told NBC 5. “We need to be realistic about the world we live in.”

Some people cannot ignore reality. They don’t live behind armed guards, they are the armed guards.

You know what’s not controversial? That after every terrorists attack our fine betters lie through their teeth about what happened, when they’re not avoiding telling us his name which might give a clue as to motivations.

The bomb that killed 22 people in Manchester on Monday was the most sophisticated device set off in Britain since attacks by the IRA, it emerged today…

The explosive, which was packed in a £20 Karrimor backpack and taken to the Manchester Arena by suicide bomber Salman Abedi, was probably made by a team of professionals and could have been triggered remotely, investigators believe.

It’s funny how many people worked alone on that attack.

Notice that “it could have been triggered remotely” even though the first day we heard, definitely, that the sploded terrorist had set it off. I didn’t trust them and neither does anybody else anymore.

Our fine betters lie to save protected constituencies that are anti-pathetic to the whole concept of western civilization. And we’re supposed to treat getting ‘sploded as a nuisance.

I do wonder why nobody ever thought of this before.

I didn’t realize Scrappleface was still posting.

A troubled young person issued a cry for help last night from the lobby of a Manchester (U.K.) arena at the end of an Ariana Grande concert, leaving 22 dead and dozens wounded — most tragically, the emotionally-distraught youth himself.

It’s not funny, but it is. Cuz it’s barely satire.

It’s funny how often I’m called a hater because I’m upset that illegal immigrants are above the law and then called names for being against illegal immigrants be above the law as lefties make illegal immigrants above the law.

Denver is moving to reduce the sentences of most municipal offenses to help immigrants avoid deportation.

The Denver Post reports Mayor Michael Hancock wants to change the potential amount of time people serve in jail for less serious crimes to less than a year in an attempt to keep them off the radar of immigration officials.

So..which “less serious crimes”?

and the first or second instance of domestic violence

As we saw the other day, Democrats say bitches need to be humble. Just cuz the second instance of domestic violence is 19 times more likely to be fatal for the wymyns* doesn’t mean they need to do something about it!

*Like 67% of all stats, that’s made-up, but it proves my point so I’m going to CNN it.

Sometimes I wish we had a parliamentary system.

A second attempt at a four-party coalition in the Netherlands has failed, just a week after the first attempt had also unravelled.

The leaders of the pro-EU centrist D66 party and the mildly eurosceptic Christian Union announced on Tuesday (23 May) that their differences of opinion were too big for coalition talks to succeed.

Think of all the harm they can’t do when they can’t even pass any laws!

This is my favorite, it shows Dutch pols are pretty much the same as ours.

The second-largest party in parliament, Geert Wilders’ far-right anti-EU PVV party, is open to talks, but no other parties see any use in that, because of the great differences amongst them…

You see, just cuz Geert Wilders party is the second largest that doesn’t mean any of the Dutch Masters should actually pay attention to them! I mean, only haters voted for them so their betters can safely ignore their votes!

Just like the GOP!

Now, if the GOP wants to do something useful, how about some hearings on this? Notice the “near water”, so he didn’t actually do anything to the water, just within sight of it.

A California farmer is facing a $2.8 million fine for failing to get a permit to plow his own field.

John Duarte bought 450 acres of land near Modesto in 2012 and is now being sued by the federal government for plowing near areas the government considers to be “waters of the United States.”

They can throw fish at the EPA thugs instead of me!

… “the information collected last summer” … were Mr. Manafort and Mr. Flynn government officials then? or just private citizens working on trump’s campaign…

  2. bruce says:

The bad thing about a parliamentary system is the Prime Minister is only the leader of the winning party and they can drop him at any time, so press campaigns like the anti-Trump movement actually work. As we saw in Australia when we elected Tony Abbott, a mildly conservative straight talking guy. The Press ran a nonstop fake news campaign and Abbott was dropped for this idiot Malcolm Turnbull we have now. Your press seem to smell blood too. This is terrible for democracy. The tail is wagging the dog.

I find Obama meeting Merkel in Berlin sinister. I don’t believe Merkel is how she’s portrayed in the English-speaking media, she’s wavering all over the place in her policies (liberal, not leftist) but pig-headed (typically German) when she thinks it’s a matter of morals. I’m sure she genuinely loves Ivanka like the daughter she never had.

Obama has way too much power for someone so clueless about how the world works. Germans insist that all migrants learn German and assimilate. US liberals would scream if they bothered to look at German or French civil laws. Yet here’s O’blahblah praising them up for their ‘great work’. Lying c*nt, as we say in British culture!

I just wish we could use the Italian style of gov’t, get a new one at least once a year. The more chaos they’re in the fewer laws they screw us with.

Worldly lefties don’t really know much about the rest of the world.

Al Gore lectured us on how our vehicles couldn’t be sold in China cuz of their strict pollution regulations.
The media reported it and there was very little mainstream pushback on that ridiculously moronic statement.
