Comey does indeed plan to reveal at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Thursday that he informed Trump on three separate occasions that the Republican was not under investigation. (RELATED: Comey Told Trump He Was Not Under Investigation)

In prepared remarks released on Wednesday, Comey states that he told Trump on Jan. 6, Jan. 27, and March 30 that he was not a target of the Russia probe….

“However, Comey has told associates he will not corroborate Trump’s claim that on three separate occasions Comey told the president he was not under investigation as part of the probe into Russian meddling in the U.S. election, a source familiar the former director’s thinking told ABC News,” ABC News reported.

You mean anonymous sources who contradict known sources are unreliable?!?!?!??? No!

“Comey’s associates have insisted in recent weeks that Comey would never have offered such assurances, even to the president, as a matter of principle,” the ABC News report continues.

That should have been your first clue, Comey has no principles.

 

Talking about Comey’s prepared statement that says Trump was right, Ace sez,

(Comey) keeps characterizing Trump’s statements and actions as “concerning.”

Which plays right into the media’s game (go figure!): the media can never tell us specifically what laws Trump is accused of violating; they mere imply that he must have broken some law. Look how concerning this all is!

As he exonerates Trump, he throws out a lot of innuendo I look forward to all the “I can’t answer that because of National Security!!!!!”s.

Iraq’s autonomous Kurdish region on Wednesday announced it would hold a referendum on independence, in a move the central government in Baghdad Tehran (FIFY V) is likely to oppose strongly.

The House of Representatives unanimously passed a resolution on Tuesday night condemning the attack by Turkish personnel on protesters in Washington, D.C., last month.

Members of a congressional committee at a public hearing Wednesday blasted former President Barack Obama and his attorney general for allegedly covering up an investigation into the death of a Border Patrol agent killed as a result of a botched government gun-running project known as Operation Fast and Furious.

They’re not going to do shit about this “botched” operation.

The only thing that was botched was that they didn’t to use it to take my guns.

Not for lack of trying.

Under the new policy, federal firearms licensees in Texas, California, Arizona and New Mexico must report purchases of two or more of some types of rifles by the same person in a five-day span. The requirement applies to purchases of semi-automatic rifles that have detachable magazines and a caliber of greater than .22.

That didn’t go through, but we did get a bunch of dead Americans, Mexicans  and Parisians.  But by all means GOP assholes, just keep smacking me in the face.

It was nice watching Bret Baier and Katherine Herridge talk about this. They noted that so far what Comey’s released doesn’t make Trump look bad, I spent a few minutes watching MacCallum!, she saw things that Made Her Think and Were Concerning.

CNN was all about how this didn’t prove that Comey told Trump 3 times he wasn’t under investignation!!!!! You know, except it did.
