How does fakenews happen?

Yesterday we made fun of the Wash Post about their SCOOP!!!!! that Trump outed Valerie Plam…ummm…what the hell did he do? Oh yeah, something about Russia.

So today Trump said that he talked to the Russians about intelligence. Which is exactly what the fuck he said yesterday.

And now we see Concerned Conservatives like Capt. Boring/Ed Morrissey at Hot Air say,

I guess everyone can put the #fakenews hashtag away for a while, eh? Yesterday, the White House had nat-sec advisor H.R. McMaster issue a broad but unspecific denial after the Washington Post reported that Donald Trump had blurted out highly classified intel to the visiting Russian delegation last week. Rex Tillerson followed suit and the White House communications team issued a terse denial before heading behind closed doors for a meeting.

This morning, as what seems to be a developing pattern, Trump took to Twitter and made hash of the hashtag from his supporters, as well as of White House communications strategy:

Yeah, no. Trump  takes to twitter to say (read the comments on his tweets, there are some angry people out there)

As President I wanted to share with Russia (at an openly scheduled W.H. meeting) which I have the absolute right to do, facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety. Humanitarian reasons, plus I want Russia to greatly step up their fight against ISIS & terrorism.

Yesterday the Wash Post said Trump had jeopardized intelligence gathering, McMaster said, “ummmm, no.”, today nothing we’ve seen contradicts that, but everybody is tut-tutting Trump for…uhhhh….. being hated by Minitrue as nearly as I can tell.

Claire Sez

what’s that word….?????

That Rooski word for destroying a country by intentionally creating doubt in the people that there is actually any way whatsoever for them to learn the facts of what is going on.

Not sure of the Russian word, I’d go with Minitrue in English. Here’s the kicker, the part that all Concerned Conservatives are upset about.

Specifically, [Trump] is said to have described the details of an Islamic State threat related to the use of laptop computers on aircraft. The information itself was reportedly provided by a close Middle Eastern ally.

To which Claire responds

wait…. I heard about that on the nooz…
*I* heard about that on the nooz…

Sorry for the language, they don’t curse much at Sondrakistan, that’s another difference from Alextopia.

News from last year!

Liberals Are An Inferno Of Flaming Crazy And We Should Pour Gasoline On The Fire

Don’t get me wrong, that’s a good article and I suggest you read it, but where was he last year? That was one of the biggest reasons for voting for Trump, now we’re just roasting marshmallows and popcorn over the fire.

Let’s Drudgetapose!

Hillary 2015

“We have to end the flood of secret, unaccountable money that is distorting our elections, corrupting our political system, and drowning out the voices of too many everyday Americans,” Mrs. Clinton said in a statement. “Our democracy should be about expanding the franchise, not charging an entrance fee. It starts with overturning the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision, and continues with structural reform to our campaign finance system so there’s real sunshine and increased participation.”…

She would end secret, unaccountable money in politics…(emphasis me)

Hillary 2017

Two-time failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton officially launched a new organization on Monday, “Onward Together,” with the stated goal of “advancing the vision that earned nearly 66 million votes in the last election.” Put more bluntly, the group’s mission is to advance Clinton’s agenda, which was unable to defeat Donald Trump.
But buried on the donation page is this nugget:

First, you know it has to kill her that bribes paid to her are no longer tax-deductable.

Second, that is one awkward, Engrishy, second sentence. As nearly as I can tell that sentence should read, “Only US citizens or lawfully…can contribute”.

Third, do you get shirts when you become a member? Are they black or brown? Any armbands?

Clintons lie. It’s what they do. They also grift. It’s the other thing they do. Hillary also fascists, it’s what she does.

Nothing major, just a reminder about the Unproven Accusation About Voter Fraud!

Hillary Clinton garnered more than 800,000 votes from noncitizens on Nov. 8, an approximation far short of President Trump’s estimate of up to 5 million illegal voters but supportive of his charges of fraud.

Just remember, if it’s not fakenews it’s not at the NYTimesWashPostCNNABCCBSNBCetc.!

Speaking of fascists, the IRS fascists who decided people they disagree with politically deserve no rights,

Current and former IRS officials are asking not to publicly testify about the agency’s alleged bias against Tea Party and other conservative organizations, claiming they are in danger if they do so.

Former official Lois Lerner and Holly Paz both argued in recent filings under seal in the U.S. District Court in Cincinnati that the death threats and other harassment…

I can understand that and even agree. If they tell the truth, well.

There is tangible evidence on the laptop of a former DNC staffer that confirms he was talking to WikiLeaks prior to his murder, a private investigator suggested Monday

Dead minions tell no tales.

The Far Right Preaches Traditional Values!!!!! Can they accept a lesbian?

Weidel’s rise is the latest expression of a growing, if seemingly ironic, trend. In their policies, nationalist movements in the West often oppose full gay rights, including same-sex marriage. (any examples Wash Post? No? Because Everybody Knows That!!!!!!!!!!!! V)

Meanwhile, in Akbar Britain, the Far Right is pushing traditional values but there is pushback by their betters!

The leaders of radical right-wing party Britain First have been arrested following a “campaign” related to an ongoing rape trial at a court in Kent.

So what sort of campaign?

Kent Police said the arrests related to “leaflets and videos posted online” that were linked to an ongoing trial at Canterbury Crown Court. The court case involves the alleged gang rape of a 16-year-old girl.,,

“We were driving to a meeting through Kent and the traffic in front of us stopped,” Fransen told IBTimes UK. “A marked police van had stopped diagonally in front of the cars.

“Then other police cars flew up behind and alongside us and officers leaped out …. they pulled us both out [of the car].”

She added: “It was like watching a Swat team. They were obviously waiting for us on this route.”

As we saw the other day, they’re trying to stop it. Their betters are saying it’s culturally inappropriate to oppose that.

Some days I really hate people. I call those days, “Today”.

via our favorite smell.

I realize I shouldn’t have linked them because Jihadwatch is all about Teh Hateism, so let’s palate-wash with this acceptable free speech!

Last Thursday, I (Robert Spencer) gave a lecture on the jihad threat at the Grand Hotel in Reykjavik, Iceland. Shortly thereafter, a young Icelandic Leftist registered his disapproval of what I said by poisoning me.

Can’t we all just get along?

I do have to give a mea wronga. I’ve said that commies cannot innovate, I wuz wrong,

Nevertheless, the Castro dictatorship is not a failure at everything it does. There is one thing they are particularly good at: repression. It is a skill they have been honing now for more than a half century. While innovation and ingenuity are foreign terms to the Cuban dictatorship when it comes to the economy and civil society, they are constantly innovating and coming up with ingenious new methods of repression.

Cuba is second only to China, the Norks and Berkeley in shutting down free speech!

I’ve come to the conclusion that doves are the dickheads of the desert/avian world.

They attack other birds, they constantly coo at me, they attack each other and the kicker, they eat from a dickhead’s bowl

Kago doesn’t eat his dry food plain anymore, I cook crappy, sleeve, 73% hamburger and put it and the grease over his dry food.

Those doves are eating hamburger-grease-infused dog food.

Are they becoming carnivorous?

Luckily, I have a gun for that!

.22/.410 with birdshot.

I have a few 000buckshot shells for it too, they’re for coyote.

Important, Above The Post, Finally!, Update With Newly Changed Link!

Trump fires FBI Director Comey.

Liberal press interprets this as an attempt to derail Comey’s investigation of Trump’s alleged Russia connections in 3…2…1…

Bingo!

President Donald Trump abruptly fired FBI Director James Comey Tuesday, ousting the nation’s top law enforcement official in the midst of an investigation by the agency into whether Trump’s campaign had ties to Russia’s election meddling [emphasis mine – Paco].

At least 4 months late.

Now back to our post in its entirety!

Nick Kristof, who if he didn’t exist I’m not sure even FrnakJ could invent, mansplains abortion to backward Xtian women

If that seems incongruous, let’s remember that conservative Christianity’s ferocious opposition to abortion is relatively new in historical terms.

The Bible does not explicitly discuss abortion, and there’s no evidence that Christians traditionally believed that life begins at conception. St. Thomas Aquinas, the father of much of Catholic theology, believed that abortion was murder only after God imbued fetuses with a soul, at 40 days or more after conception.

So…. historically recent? In about 30 seconds of searching, we find this scholarly dude writing about how there was significant discussion in early Christianity about its sinfullness.

Huh. Why it’s as if Nick Kristof is an idiot?!?! Possibly. But he’s more of a fakenewser who spreads disinformation and misinformation to provide affirmation to NY Times readers because they’re good enough, they’re smart enough, and doggone it, people like them!

I didn’t realize this was an option.

The deranged drifter charged with gunning down a shelter worker after she fought off his rape attempt refused to show up to court Monday for the first day of his murder trial.

West Spruill has been a no-show to Bronx Supreme Court before –

Huh. You learn something new every day.

Veeshir Vact Check: True!

Dr. Herbert Lin, one of the nation’s pre-eminent thinkers on cybersecurity policy, shuns the internet-connected devices that fill some American homes.

He’ll have nothing to do with “smart” refrigerators, hands-free home speakers he can call by name, intelligent thermostats and the like.

“People say to me, ‘How can you have a doctorate in physics from MIT and not trust in technology?’ And I look at them and say, ‘How can I have a doctorate in physics from MIT and trust technology?’ ” Lin said.

The more you know the more paranoid you are.

Also, I wonder how many viruses (virii?) I picked up at that site.

More totally impartial judiciating!

In Fourth Circuit Hearing on Obama’s Travel Restrictions, ACLU Lawyer Admits, Sure, This Executive Order Might Be Legal if Hillary Clinton Signed It
Well, this was all pretty much implied from the lower courts’ reasoning — which always centered not on the law itself, but on statements Trump made (or was alleged by Rudy Giulliani to have made).

Minus those statements, then the EO passes muster. It’s facially constitutional. But they’re saying a bad man wants to pass it, which makes it unconstitutional by prior statements.

Hmmmm, what’s the current state of American Jurisprudence?

Chief Justice John Roberts first says the mandate in the law requiring individuals to buy health insurance is not a tax.

Then he says it is a tax.

He upholds the individual mandate—as a tax, not a penalty—as the law of the land. But then says it would not be “unlawful” for Americans to violate the law’s mandate that they “shall” buy health insurance–as long as they are willing to pay the “penalty” for not obeying the law.

So what you’re saying is that if you pass a law saying it’s not a tax it is a tax, except when it’s not, and Trump’s a doody-head?

I really need to read the commerce clause more closely cuz I just don’t see that. Or is it the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness clause?

Is this true? Cuz if it is, I don’t like it.

A judge on Tuesday erased a 2013 murder conviction against former NFL star Aaron Hernandez, ruling that case law in Massachusetts has long established that defendants who die before their appeals are heard should have their convictions vacated. (emphasis me, V)

I do not like that at all.

So…you remember when we are, right?

Yeah…. about that.…..

So..what size 12 gauge shot should I use for deer?

A more scholarly look at it.

Ungulate gnawing on bone has been reported in the taphonomic and zooarchaeological literature, but there are no known reports of ungulates altering human remains. Herein, we report on the first known photographic evidence of deer gnawing human remains. (emphasis none of your business, V)

Doesn’t make it any better.

And throwing fish at me to get me.

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates will testify in front of a Senate subcommittee Monday about what and when she told the Trump White House in regard to Michael Flynn’s ties to Russia.

Why?

Why isn’t Lerner testifying about what the Obama White House told her in regards to her ties to fascism?

Why aren’t they going after actual lawlessness instead of trying to keep this non-story in the new…..

Oh right. The We’re Better And Smarter Than You Party hates Trump almost as much as they hate me.

So I saw this headline

Lawsuit Threatens Congressional Tool…

And I thought, “Finally! McCain or Graham are going to get what they deserve!”

But the tool they were talking about was neither McCain nor Graham!?!?!?! It wasn’t even McConnell!

seeking to strike down the Congressional Review Act

Wrong tool!  There are some right over there (points at Congress) that would make America Great Again if we got rid of them.

If you need some more links about Obama’s wiretapping of Trump, click here.

Not sure why you’d bother trying to convince anybody of reality if they don’t remember watching it happen (Here are leaked transcripts of wiretaps of Trump’s peeps!!!… No! Obama did not wiretap Trump’s peeps!), then showing them more proof surely won’t do any good. YMMV.

Birds of a feather tell Teh Peepul to fuck off together!

Mayor de Blasio is so intent on going to the mat defending Correction Commissioner Joseph Ponte’s blatant abuse of a city vehicle and frequent absences from work that he’s now trashing his own investigators for blowing the whistle…

As if professional investigators don’t know how to, you know, investigate.

As for the DOI probe that uncovered the abuse by Ponte and his subordinates: That’s just “their views,” said de Blasio.

How dare you go after one of his peeps? Have you no sense of exactly how corrupt NY is supposed to be? I mean, it’s not as if it’s a Republican trying to stop Democratic priorities!

Who teaches students that words are violence? While the plural of anecdote is not data, I’ve seen variations on this in most schools in the greater Phoenix area

It’s a hate-crime to say the bit about words never hurting you unless you let them.

I’m gonna have to disagree.

Another Drink Won’t Help

And then he talks about our fine media betters refusing to say the word, “socialism” or “murderous dictator” when discussing Venezuela.

The growing economic crisis (was) fueled by low prices for oil, the country’s main export; a drought that has crippled Venezuela’s ability to generate hydroelectric power; and a long decline in manufacturing and agricultural production.” – IBD

Another drink is about all you can do for those poor bastards.

FIFA is working on kicking Israel out! I could click to find out why, but seriously, why bother? I’m sure it has something to do with Palestinians and apartheid and premeditated jewishness. I was going to list members, but once I got past “Palestine” and Syria on my way to Afghanistan, Iran and….I got tired.

Why bother? Just because FIFA is perfectly okay with murderous dictatorships, places with actual, “bill-of-sale” slavery and that treat women like property, I got depressed.

And much of our country and most of the world have no idea why I have a problem with this. Except that I’m a racist hater.

I did my taxes late this year and I was broke in April so I didn’t do BAG day and didn’t even mention it. I’m a little embarrassed about that.

But you know what doesn’t suck?

Chiappa 1887 Mare’s Leg.

Gauge, 12 Gauge!

It’s all about useless but also all about teh fun.

First I’d like to ask a question, are Colts really three times better than S&W? I’ve never fired a Colt revolver but I really like S&W. I just don’t see how a used, stainless .44mag is $700 when it’s S&W but $1,500-$2500 when it’s Colt.

S&W is about $100+/- more than Ruger and I think that’s about right.

Is it just because they don’t make them anymore? Because I’ll tell you, unless the Colt comes with a happier ending than a S&W, I just can’t see it being worth that much more.

I wishfully hoped that they wouldn’t use all the terrorist-catching laws that were ONLY GOING TO BE USED TO CATCH TERRORISTS!!!!!!! on people who aren’t terrorists.

Law enforcement wants to charge a Perry County man with committing terrorist activity after he stole 911 communications equipment.

Frank Thomas Aldridge is in custody after breaking into a 911 communications building back on Dec. 9, 2016.

Aldridge found out he couldn’t resell the equipment he stole, so he threw it in a nearby creek.

I know, when I wishfully think I make an ass out of me and me. Especially when I wishfully think that gov’t folks won’t get all mission creepy.

France is trying to be my friend, I hope this isn’t just wishful thinking.

Leading French Presidential Candidate Emmanuel Macron has invited the entire US climate science community to relocate to France.

Thank you French socialist dude, I sincerely hope they take you up on your offer.

Romanians are wishing for a non-corrupt gov’t and thinking that they’re gonna have to stay serious to get it.  They’ve been protesting for about 2 weeks over

The decree, decriminalised the abuse of office in cases where the damages were less than 200,000 leu (about 43,200 euros) and was coupled with a mass pardon for non-violent convicts serving short jail terms.

What that means is that if a politician takes a bribe for less than about $50k, no harm no foul. And pols in jail would be let out.

Obviously, their gov’t is pretty similar to ours.

Despite the outrage over the proposed changes to the criminal code. the government is refusing to quit. It insists the public has misunderstood its reform bid

Yeah, we get that shit here too.

I wish them luck. Romanian pols might want to review history, Europeans do not get a Trump, they get a Hitler or a Ceausescu and light poles start to get decorated.

Via Cold Fury, we find this bit of hilarity.

A French street artist was severely beaten up in Paris after refusing to remove a work of art calling for coexistence between Islam, Judaism and Christianity.

When I mention the stupidity of those COEXIST signs, I’m called a hater, if you click you will see that the French media tried to obfuscate the issue, but it’s unobfuscatable. He should have stuck with the traditional form.

Fakenewser takes time off from fakenewsing to do a little affirmation/wishful thinking!

Headline

A new, liberal tea party is forming. Can it last without turning against Democrats?

I doubt it, why?

Grass-roots movements can be the life and death of political leaders.

Yeah, about that.

Political action committees that fundraised for President Barrack Obama during the 2012 presidential election, bused protesters to Republican town hall events nationwide earlier in February, according to a Sunday report from The Washington Post.

It makes it funnier that the Wash Post are the fakenewsers praising the TOTALLY GRASSROOTS!!!!!!  group while they also noticed that Obama was busing in those totally grassroots protestors.

Back to the original fakenews, so long as you think the Tea Party a top-down, paid for, astro-turfed group of rioters willing to travel around the country to get their violence and stupidity on then they’re spot on. Which is what they thought the tea party was.

What I can’t figure out is whether or not Canada gets any US TV channels.

U.S. border guards would get new powers to question, search and even detain Canadian citizens on Canadian soil under a bill proposed by the Liberal government.

As we’re trying to limit the power of the feds here the Canadians are giving our feds more power!?!?!?!

Don’t encourage them you idiots! It’s only going to make our job here more difficult! Idjits.

Speaking of Canadia, this bit of Tolerance Love and Peace is hilarious.

While the men prayed, she (Ontario premier Kathleen Wynne V) sat patiently in the back corner of the mosque waiting to say the words many in the room were so thankful to hear.

The words they were so thankful to hear? “We will adhere to the tenets of your religion.” Actually, she said something else, but you know what they heard.

She sat in a corner in the back of the mosque while the men fucking prayed and she didn’t fucking leave. She didn’t seem to even realize they were making sure she knew her place.

As we watch California flooding caused by corrupt, CA pols… global worming, let’s focus on what’s important.

I think I can help with this question.

Headline on a story about of the the ‘discoveries’ that global warmmongers lie.

How can we trust global warming scientists if they keep twisting the truth

You can’t. They lie.

You always become what you fight!

In an impassioned plea, Mr Cook, boss of the world’s largest company (CEO of Apple V), says that the epidemic of false reports “is a big problem in a lot of the world” and necessitates a crackdown by the authorities and technology firms.

Graphic Added! I forgot it when I hit publish!

The Eagles, who were named for the symbol of Roosevelt’s New Deal, are planning a Black Lives Matter Protest tomorrow night.

For me, it has nothing to do with this country or the flag or the anthem in itself,” Jenkins said. “Really, it’s just to continue to push for the conversation about social injustice.

So why are you shitting on our National Anthem?

So what does the coach of the Eagles think about that?

Jenkins said that coach Doug Pederson is aware of the plan, and that he is “OK” with it.

So what does the NFL think about that?

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says the league will encourage players to use their voice to promote social change as the demonstrations during the national anthem started by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick last month continue to spread to other teams. (emphasis me V)…

“As I’ve said before, I truly respect our players wanting to speak out and change the community,” Goodell said. “We don’t live in a perfect society. We want them to use that voice

Oh. but when someone spoke out, on his own time and not during a football game, how did the NFL feel about free speech?

That would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu,” Williams said…

“While Hank Williams Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football,” it said. “We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”

Hank Williams decided to defend himself. CNN was On The Job!!!!!

When one of the Fox News’ interviewers pointed out that Williams invoked “one of the most hated people in all of the world to describe … the president,”…

No remorse was evident in Williams’ latest song, titled “Keep the Change” — an apparent dig at Obama’s 2008 campaign promise to bring change to Washington…

Totally not related, from a CNN newsreader

“But while a lookalike showed up with a wad of cash, Mr. Bush did not.”

She referenced the following paper-mache mask of President Bush with a Hitler haircut and mustache:

Free Speech, like inclusion, is only for some people.

Eh, I’ll watch some Futurama and I just got the last two books of Stirling’s Change series and the evenings are really cooling off so when the Sun sets, I’ll go outside to read.

Is anybody else reading the Change series?

The first three, Dies the Fire, The Protector’s War and A Meeting at Corvallis, were great.

Then, the next generation took over, where God and gods took a bigger role, and those books were up and down, some were very good some were pretty good. None were bad.

Halfway through The Given Sacrifice, the next generation took over. It was okay. Then, the Golden Princess was very good. That was one of those books you regret ending.

I just got the Desert and the Blade and Prince of Outcasts. If you’re still liking the series, you might not want to read the next part.

I read the Desert and the Blade. Man, what a slog, it took me 3 or 4 days, which is ridiculously long for me to read a fiction book. I’d read it for less than 1/2 hour and put it down, then pick it up later and read it for 1/2 hours then…

I’ll re-read all the other ones in a day or at most two, unless I’m working full time and then it might take me 3 days.

It was 860 or so pages but it could have been about 600 if he hadn’t described every part of every meal and down to maybe 400 if he hadn’t described, in detail, Dunedain flets, the differing ‘garb’ of every community, the fields, railroads and woods, which he had described fully in previous books. At least he made it a whole book without using the word “Bannock”. I totally got sick of that in the previous 6 books. He couldn’t go 4 pages without using it.

Now if we could wean him of “clotted cream” I’d be much happier.

Seriously, it could have been 400+ pages without losing a thing except repeated, 2 or 3 page descriptions of Every. Course. Of. Every. Fucking. Meal and houses and places and people he’s already described, in great detail, in previous books. I found myself skipping whole pages, just skimming to see if he was still describing clotted cream on sweet barley cakes.

I’m about 1/4 through Prince of Outcasts and so far he hasn’t gone crazy over-describing things he’s already over-described, but if this book isn’t darn good I doubt I’ll keep reading. I might jump back in in a few years as I did with Honor Harrington.

I got sick of that series too, but I broke down and got the last two and they were pretty good again.

Holy Moley!

That’s a video of the streets of Dhaka in Bangladesh where the sacrificing for Eid is in full swing.

Huge swathes of animal sacrifices marking the Islamic festival Eid al-Adha turned the streets of Bangladesh’s capital into rivers of blood.

Authorities in Dhaka had designated areas in the city where residents could slaughter animals, but heavy downpours Tuesday rendered them out of action.

Instead, Muslims took to car parks, garages and alleyways to traditionally mark Eid al-Adha – or the Feast of Sacrifice – by slaughtering livestock and when the blood flowed into the streets, it turned them red.

That’s a lot of blood in that water. What gets me is people walking through it. Check out the pics at the link.

Via Doug Ross’ site.

Think of it as a preview of the upcoming Battle For Mosul where the streets will run with blood too.

The United States has increased its forces in Iraq by almost 500 troops in the last week to support the operation to take Mosul from the Islamic State group, a Pentagon spokesman said Thursday.

ISIS are a bunch of murderous/suicidal, evil bastards who would think nothing of destroying the city as they fight. They’re planning on it.

Recall, they’re the ones who split off from al Quaeda because they’re a bunch of pussies and we know how al Quaeda acted in Fallujah.  And that’s when we got most of the non-jihadi folks to leave the city. The people in Mosul do not have that option.

Of course, with Obama in charge, you know it’s going to be needlessly bloody.

Some U.S. officers in Baghdad believe the Obama administration is rushing plans for a Mosul offensive so it takes place before the November presidential election, a retired general says.

Retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael D. Barbero said his contacts in Baghdad have relayed the concerns to him, fearing there is now an “artificial timeline” for what promises to be by far the toughest battle in the war against the Islamic State inIraq.

.

Nothing like telling your enemy when you’re going to attack.

Excerpt from a speech by Roosevelt, June 2, 1944.

…we shall be invading the coast of France, not at the Pas de Calais as the Nazis expect but at Normandy to surprise the Nazis!!! And we shall be invading in a few days!!! Beginning our task of driving the Nazis from their conquests on the European continent!!!!

Well, that would have been the speech if he was an idiot like Obama.

As I’m Writing The Post Update!!!!!!

Hannity is on talking about Trump’s rising poll numbers and I’m pretty sure he’s beating off under the desk as he talks about it.

Now, back to the post as it’s in progress!

Australia had their big gun-grab where it’s very difficult to own any guns anymore, so how’s that working out for them?

Crimes associated with firearm possession have also more than doubled, driven by the easy availability of handguns, semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and, increasingly, machine guns, that are smuggled into the country or stolen from licensed owners.”

The machine gun are almost definitely smuggled in as you cannot own a machine gun in Australia.

So gun-grabbing didn’t work, what to do, what to do?

Gun-controlled Australia is witnessing gun crime at such high levels that state and federal officials are pushing new controls that will do everything from enact a second national gun buyback to increase sentences for gun crime and illegal gun possession.

Make it more illegaler!!!!!!

Huh, I can’t figure that out.  Gun control has worked so well in places in America that have tried it, like Chicago,

chalkie-september-16

Britain banned evil guns, how’s that worked out for them?

The West Midlands is STILL the nation’s gun crime capital – and it’s getting worse…

These were all cases where firearms were actually used (emphasis me, V) rather than just possessed, including firing them, threatening others with them or using them as a club-like weapon.

It means that there were 20 offences for every 100,000 people in the region last year, or one for every 5,000 residents.

Not far behind was London with 19.4 per 100,000.

Greater Manchester had the third-highest rate in the country with 16.0 gun crimes per 100,000.

Read more: Dublin cops want machine guns as brutal gang war kills two

When you ban guns, only criminals will have guns.

That’s win/win for our fine political betters. They turn generally law-abiding people into either criminals or disarmed victims, both leading to reduced freedom as cops need to ignore other Constitutional amendments because of the rise in crime. Like “Stop and Frisk” where cops in NY were just stopping random folks for no reason except they felt like it and it was necessary because of all the gun crime. Cuz guns are illegal so the criminals know their victims are unarmed.

I’m trying to figure out what is up with this story.

She was in for a rude awakening when she realized her 5-year-old kindergarten student had brought 30 packets of heroin to school Monday, officials said.

He brought enough for everybody so I don’t get the problem.

Caballero update!

I finally got it back today! It runs freaking great, sounds great, the transmission slips like mad so I can’t get on it!

Sonomogun. The first idiot I thought was a good mechanic 4 months ago told me I had a 4L60 transmission.

I just found out that a 4L60 has lots of electronics hanging off it for computer control. Mine has one (1) wire on it. Apparently something to do with kickdown.

The guy who put it together told me I have a 700r4 transmission, so I have to replace the torque converter.

Son of a bitch.

At least now I have a guy I can trust who can get that done in one day once I get the right torque converter.
The worst part is that I knew this guy but he has a muffler place. He’s done exhaust and brake work for me but I didn’t think of him as an engine guy. His father is a big motorhead who has a shop in Globe but he came to Mesa to work on my car.

I should have known, he has a Toyota Corolla he took the body off and replaced it with a body that looks like a huge muffler. It’s pretty cool, if you’re a muffler guy I guess.

Which actually works out, I’m supposed to drive like a grandma for 500 miles to break in the engine and I surely can’t stomp on it as it sits.

I cannot drive like a grandma, it goes against everything I stand for. When I was 16 I had a hitch-hiker refuse to get in my car, he had heard about me. If I hadn’t had a ’72 Dart with a 198 cubic inch engine with a whopping 100 HP I would have been wrapped around a tree by the time I was 16 3/4.

As it was, when driving on mountain roads with “no speed limit”, which meant 55 at the time, I would get the car to 60 (0-60 measured by sundial) and keep it there no matter what the road did.

Gila Muffler in Mesa did a great job, taking a car that had two people work on it before him and figuring out what was done, what needed to be done and what needed to be redone.

I actually paid him more than he asked as I thought he was undercharging me and I wanted him thinking happy thoughts about me when I need more work.

If you’re in the East Valley near Phoenix, I suggest you use Gila Muffler. Good, honest mechanics are hard to find.

On the east coast, I have a few friends who are mechanics so I haven’t had to worry about being ripped off since the 80s.

Our fine media betters rarely fail to make to me laugh, it’s just that usually it’s tempered by fury at their dishonesty, but this story about LGBT types who are figuring out that they need to take charge of their own protection is just funny.

First, let’s hear from someone who is more trusting of their honesty.

Jonathan Fischer is never sure who’s going to be more surprised when he, as he likes to put it, comes out of the gun closet — the gun aficionados who find out he’s gay or the gay friends who find out he likes shooting guns.

Yeah, I bet he was pretty surprised when most gun owners couldn’t care any less where he puts his dick. I also bet many of his, lefty, gay friends were less than tolerant of his deviation from their norm.

An example of an intolerant, reich-wing hater

When the firearms instructor at the range near Piru asked each person in the class why he or she was there, Fischer ticked off several reasons and mentioned the Pink Pistols.

“What is the Pink Pistols group?” a man asked.

There was a pause.

“We’re — a gay gun group,”…

“No, that’s awesome,” the man said, nodding reassuringly….

There was such an outpouring of support from firearms trainers, many of them straight,

Hating haters gonna hate.

Tolerant people gonna tolerate.

The Pink Pistols has received a mostly negative response from the broader LGBT community, she said. Some LGBT centers, she said, have even specifically banned the Pink Pistols from using their facilities.

You’d think the “journalist” would have noticed something there.

That’s your problem. Stop thinking when reading Minitrue “journalists”, just point and laugh.

These consecutive paragraphs really made me laugh.

It’s a stark contrast to how the overwhelming majority of LGBT activists and organizations responded to the Orlando massacre, which has sparked calls within the community for gun control.

In the wake of the shooting, some gay bars like the Abbey in West Hollywood beefed up security

They want more gun control so they got people with guns to protect them and this “journalist” did not notice any conflict or humor in that at all.

Further, the “journalist” didn’t note that the Orlando shooter was a security guard.

And that’s the funniest part.  The fool who wrote that would have no idea why I find it funny. None whatsoever.
