The next election here goes pretty much two ways.
Trump wins and faces an even more weaponized federal gov’t who ignores his appointees but does follow the orders of Valerie Jarret.
The Dems cheat so much even the people who don’t believe only what CNN tells them to believe, notice it.
Normal people notice this and get upset, the Dept of “Justice” goes full Stasi, with the enthusiastic help of Microsoft/Apple/Amazon/Google/Banks/Phone Companies/etc., and they go all the way with the intimidation effort they’ve been working.
The next 6 months are going to be very interesting.

The next 6 months are going to very interesting as I can’t believe our fine betters will stomach losing an election, and we’ve seen how far they’ll go. Farther than the last election for sure.
In addition to worrying about America and the world, the multinational company where I work is going all bureaucraty and DEIish, so I have to wonder if the place where I’m hoping to work until I retire (If I can) will still be around. They’re making unusual changes.
I plan on moving and working part time while living in nowhere. I’m going to have to go to winter I think. I don’t like winter, but I want to wait a few years.
We get inundated by Pride crap for instance,
Seriously, “halfway to prid,” then a quarter way to pride, then pride is next month.
We also celebrate every other lefty group. It gets freaking annoying checking my email. They actually invited Sunny Hostin to speak to an electronic town hall. I guess Lizzo was busy that day.
The bureaucrats are also All About SAFETY! Most of the poeple in the shop have used tools since they looked for the left-handed monkey wrench the first time. So naturally they don’t allow us to have pocket knives. Not even carry one. Sigh.
This is in a machine shop, with adults, not a 3rd grade classroom.
My personal favorite was when they built a cage around the manual mills, presumably because of the rash of manual mill deaths (none).
I came around the corner and saw them building that and just burst out laughing, it was just so ridiculous.

Surprisingly, I did not have to go to an HR meeting and it stayed up for a few weeks, until the day before a corporate bigwig came to visit.
They’ve since moved the DRO you can see inside the cage (it can control the mill so it’s not really manual anymore) to outside the cage. It won’t work unless the cage door is closed.
Ridiculous. The guy has only run a mill since before the Safety Manager! was born.

As anyone who has ever tried to make an engineer’s pretty picture work in the real world knows, what they draw will not work unless a machinist or mechanic makes it work. I work in QC, my job is to explain to engineers why the poor machinist literally cannot make the part in tolerance.

I was going to get tires put on it today but the power steering was out. It was too hard to turn without. It’s time to park the convertible but the tires are 7 years old, still with lots of tread but 7 years is way too old. Especially in AZ.
