Man, I hate moving. I got a 5X8 trailer thinking I had less stuff. Which since I’m not bringing my bed I do, but I forgot the 4 bookcases that took up much of one load. The worst part is that they’re cheap Walmart bookcases so now 2, maybe 3 of them, are half-bookcases. They didn’t travel well.

 

Eh, let’s do a short tube. It’s gonna start with some shit, but get very funny by the end.

We’re gonna start with a double-edged Fuck You.

Just days before he resigns from Congress, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) said Monday that House and Senate lawmakers should receive a $2,500 per month housing allowance — something he explained would help ease housing costs for members who can’t afford two mortgages or rents.

That’s him saying, Fuck You to us. Congresscorruptocrats become wealthy while in Congress what with all the insider trading it’s totally legal for them to do, and stuff like Hillary Clinton’s cattle-futures deal.

My response is a hearty Fuck You.

But since they write the laws that govern themselves, I’m gonna say, “Most Likely To Happen.” so the last Fuck You is on us.

Cuz they have a low opinion of us and high opinion of themselves. If they had some sort of low-income and assets criteria, I would be fer it. But since they won’t, I don’t feel like giving multi-millionaire and corruptocrat extraordinaire, Nancy Pelosi, $2.5k a month.

 

I hate our media, the shooting of LaVoy Finicum looked very shady but since it was Obama’s Dept of “Justice” killing him, they were not interested. It looked shady to me and apparently, the Dept of “Justice” is actually investigating a crime committed by  Hillary’s Bitches in the FBI.

An FBI agent has been indicted on federal accusations that he lied about firing at Robert “LaVoy” Finicum last year as police arrested the leaders of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation.

This asshole opened fire, guy tried to return fire and he got dead and this asshole walked.

I’m not saying it’s as bad as Waco and Ruby Ridge, but it was not pretty and Finicum should not be dead.

 

The other day I was surprised and thought maybe Vietnam wasn’t as murderously commie as I would expect, they’re still murderous commies though.

A prominent Vietnamese blogger known as ‘Mother Mushroom’ was jailed for 10 years on Thursday, her lawyer said, during a brief trial rights groups decried as “outrageous”.

Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Quynh, whose pen name derives from her daughter’s nickname “mushroom”, was arrested in October 2016 and later charged with anti-state propaganda over critical Facebook posts about politics and the environment.

Vietnam’s one-party state keeps a tight clamp on dissent and routinely jails activists, bloggers and lawyers who speak out against the communist regime.

They didn’t murder her, but I doubt ten years in a Vietnamese jail is good for the health.

The State Department on Thursday announced new criteria to determine who will be allowed to enter the United States as a visitor or a refugee. …But the administration took a particularly strict interpretation of a Supreme Court ruling Monday that only those with “bona fide” relationships, such as close family members, can enter the country.

The administration’s new rules do not allow grandparents, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins and fiances. They do allow sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and stepchildren.

Advocates and lawyers criticized the family list as capricious.

Lewis University is seeking a new University Minister to “encourage students to live and understand social justice from a Catholic perspective.”

The new “University Minister, Coordinator of Social Justice Formation” will be tasked with responsibilities such as leading “pilgrimages to locations significant to the movement for social justice” and organizing the school’s annual social justice retreat.

Or is that the Hajj?

I called Summit and told them they fucked me. I told them they need to give me a check for $3,000 to pay for putting the engine in a car, pulling the engine out of the car and putting it back into another car.

The rest of what I spent is my problem, but they really need to step up. In the FAQ section at Blueprint, they have this picture next to the question, Will it pass emissions?

I figured you just put a catalytic converter on and it passed emissions. That’s why I called Summit, so they make sure I didn’t spend $4k on the wrong engine.

I’m moving this week, too bad I don’t have a vehicle I could use to help move like a pick-up or an El Camino. My buddy has a pick-up but it’s in rough shape, I think I’ll have to rent something.

Speaking of Caballeroing, I talked to some people and then the mechanic who has my Caballero about changing the cam shaft.

Everybody knowledgeable, including the mechanic who after talking to me looked into it last week, say it’s a bad idea. Don’t screw with a brand-new performance engine, it’ll screw everything up. 

So….the Caballero is soon to be a shell without an engine. Possibly full of bullet holes. Maybe some buckshot, I do have a new shotgun I haven’t fired yet.

For its last tow I’m thinking of taking it on Apache Trail between Apache Lake and Roosevelt, they have good parking there! Some people have been parking there since there have been cars in AZ!

If you have a Sikorsky and want something from 100 or more years ago, they’re there for the taking! Hell, you might even find a 1979 Caballero if you wait a week or 70! (depending on whether it fucks with me as hard taking the engine out as it did putting it in)

I can either go back to either 62 or 57 to get a Chevy small block to fit without modifications (I’m trying to figure out the year) and only go up to 66 for emissions purposes.

GMs in that year range are expensive, ratty Chevelles with bad interior and bad exterior are $5k, forget about El Caminos.

The mechanic said he knows guy who could put it in something else. My buddy in VA says he can put a Chevy small block in anything, like a Miata, this guy says he knows some people who can do that.

I’m going to look for something pre-66, possibly a Ranchero, which is what I wanted anyway or I keep seeing a 65 Barracuda without an engine that needs a paint job an engine and trans. I have an engine and a trans! I’m not sure if a Chevy small block would destroy the value, but I don’t care at this point.

Supreme Court Legislates!

The Supreme Court is letting the Trump administration mostly enforce its 90-day ban on travelers from six mostly Muslim countries, overturning lower court orders that blocked it…

The court did leave one category of foreigners protected, those “with a credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States,” the court said in an unsigned opinion. (emphasis me V)

When did the Supreme Court get a line-item veto? The POTUS doesn’t have that but they do?

And what the hell is a “credible claim of a bona fide…?”

I’ll tell you what it is, it’s a Lawyer Employment Decision. If it wasn’t they would have said, “Married or child or parent” or something specific. Or are they saying they’ll only let Vernon T. Waldrip in? He’s bona fide.

Yeah, I’m sick of rule by Bureaucratic Lawyers, the bureaucrats make sure bureaucracies expand and lawyers as judges and pols who make stuff vague enough to ensure lawyers get to gum up the works while siphoning money from the productive.

President Trump Has Now Signed 40 Pieces Of Legislation As He Moves To Enact His Agenda

Let’s see what ‘enacting his agenda’ means.

The bills include an act to improve weather forecasting, a long-term vision for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)

What? We’re dumping money on Global Warmmongers? Whose agenda is that? Hillary fucking Clinton’s, that’s who.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Transition Authorization Act of 2017 calls for a $19.5 billion budget for NASA — an increase from $19.3 billion in 2016 — and also asks that NASA create a plan for getting humans “near or on the surface of Mars in the 2030s.”

I can give you a plan for a lot less, get NASA out of space flight. If they still had shuttles working I’d feel differently, but now that they’ve spent years Muslim Outreaching and global warmmongering they have nothing to provide. Offer $500 million or $billion to the first one to reach Mars. That would save us tens of $billions while also getting us there 10-1,000 years earlier while ensuring we won’t just go there, drop off some crap and leave never to go back.

Fifteen of the 40 signed bills repeal Obama-era regulations. Examples of these regulations include a rule that made it tougher for states to drug test welfare recipients and a regulation that imposed permitting requirements on mining sites. These bills signed by President Trump utilized the Congressional Review Act, which allows Congress to nullify any rule or regulation created in the previous administration’s final six months.

That’s not so bad, but he’s been doing that stuff with his Pen and Phone, all most of those bills do is spend money.

The point is that none of them address immigration, Obamacare or pissing in Chuck Schumer’s Cheerios so they’re not Trump’s agenda.

 

The worst was all the ‘bi-partisan’ bills. Those always suck. They’re either fluff, lefty priorities or a declaration of war.

 

So we all saw CNN lie, realize this lie was above and beyond the call of idiocy, and retract the story. The retraction was the surprise for me, they usually just memory hole that shit.

The scandal surrounding CNN’s mishandling of a very fake news hit piece on President Donald Trump and his associates grows bigger on Sunday night as the network’s president Jeff Zucker and public relations team are refusing to comment to anyone…

This is the extra-touch that makes me laugh.

“The truth is, there’s still a lot we don’t know,” Stelter (CNN’s media watchdog V) wrote. “On Saturday and Sunday I asked CNN PR for details and comment. A network spokeswoman declined to comment as of Sunday evening.”

Did anybody watch Howard Kurtz this weekend? Did he touch on this? I ask because when he was media watchdogging for the Wash Post and working for CNN he ignored another of their media-malpractice deals, I figure he ignored it again.

Cuz he’s a media defender, a sorta cut-rate Tom Sawyer, not a media watchdog.

CNN’s president Zucker, both Breitbart News and BuzzFeed News have confirmed, is leading an internal investigation into what went wrong and who was responsible.

It was the head of CNN and every editor as well, who’ve all been encouraging lying hitjobs crediting anonymous sources that caused this. It wasn’t much worse than many other lies they’ve published lately so I really am surprised they didn’t just memory hole it or change it to, “Some say…” or something.

I will bet a dollar there’s a Winston Smith somewhere in CNN HQ saying, “See! I told you we should have just memory-holed it!”

 

This is winning!

Except for the last part, I see lots of stories claiming it’s happening and lots of stories claiming it’s a lie, but they’re all from 2009-2013.

If I had seen any recent stories I’d assume the global worming lefties were doing what they do best, lie to obfuscate the issue (see, global worming pause), but since I can’t find a recent article I figure it was, “We’re gonna sue him and it’s going to be awesome!!!!” sort of a deal.

Knowing What You Know

When I teach math I always tell students they need to know what they know. They always think that’s stupid.

Then I ask them 1/4+1/4 and get blank looks. I ask them 3/4+2/4 and get blank looks. I ask them .4+.75 and get blank looks.

Then I ask them what a quarter plus a quarter is. They all know  it’s a 1/2 dollar or $.50. I ask them 3 quarters plus 2 quarters, they know it’s 5 quarters or $1 and a quarter or $1.25. They also all know that 40 cents plus 75 cents is $1.15.

They didn’t know what they knew. If you’re in a car and ask someone how long it’ll take to get where you’re going they’ll look at the speedometer, see 60mph, look at how far, 60 miles, and say 1 hour. If you ask them the same question on a math test you’ll get 60 hours, 1/2 hour, 30 miles and 45mph as answers. True story.

Let’s see what we know that we don’t know we know!

Jon Ossoff had the entire national Democratic Party pulling out the stops for him, and flooded Atlanta television with ten million dollars in advertising. Drastically improving on the Stooksbury numbers should be no dazzling feat.(Although, somewhat hilariously, Stooksbury actually got more total votes than Ossoff, 124,917 to Ossoff’s 124,893. Granted, special elections have lower turnout, but good grief.)”

Yeah, we watched that exact thing happen last November, December, January and stopped talking about it in February because there were so many other lies the FBI was promulgating that old ones were pushed off the headlines.

 

Muslim nations think we’re nitwits and screw with us every chance they get! We all know that but we’re supposed to pretend not, because those nations have lots of oil which means they can afford lots of politicians and ‘journalists’.

A Libyan terror suspect imprisoned in the UK was put in charge of guarding David Cameron on an official visit to Tripoli in 2011, it emerged last night.

That’s the same as Iran constantly putting assholes involved in holding American hostages, making terror war and other murderously asshole actions in charge of negotiations with the west.

A southern California high school teacher who served as student body faculty adviser stepped down from that role after allegedly rigging student elections — and apparently against conservative candidates.
Principal Mick Wager emailed parents of students at Vista Murrieta High School on June 16 saying the company that handled the elections confirmed fraudulent votes altered the outcomes of the races for 2019 class president, 2019 secretary and 2018 class president, the Press-Enterprise said.

Fire that asshole. Never allow her in any position of authority ever. Take away her ant farm.

 

Is Vietnam run by less murderously commie dictators?

I knew they were a commie dictatorship but, since they murdered everybody they thought by be against them long ago, I have to wonder if they might have become less murderous.

Kicking him out is a lot nicer than actions murderous commie dictatorships usually employ. I mean, they’re not imprisoning him as a mobile “organ-donor” farm or working him to death in some “work-camp” or just putting a bullet in his head and dumping him on his front stoop for his kids to find in the morning on their way to school.

Something we all knew but we’re supposed to pretend we don’t, Prince Charles is an ignorant fool!

African poverty was not caused by colonialism, capitalism or free trade

Yeah, Africa’s problems stem from many things.

I’d say one of the biggest was creating countries full of enemies. Rwanda is the most extreme example of that, but look at Kenya. One tribe is in charge of the army, another is in charge of the air force. The Masai, who were the baddest asses around before the Europeans showed up, are out of power and treated poorly. The rest of the tribes hate them and have hated them for centuries.

Another cause is that we give $billions to countries that go to the rulers who use it to buy palaces, Mercedes and tanks, not wells or adequate roads or power distribution.  Vicious, murderous warlords masquerading as gov’ts are what keeps Africa down along with cynical assholes who pay them off to get at the natural resources like diamonds, gold and all the other things Africa has in abundance. It’s cheaper to buy an African warlord than to do the same thing in Europe or the Americas or even Asia in many cases.

 

This one bothers me. We all know that Che was a horrible racist and he was Fidel’s buddy, but everybody pretends Cuba is not very racist as well as murderously commie.

Castrogonia is one of the most profoundly racist countries on earth, but rarely does this issue surface in the world’s press.

According to Castro regime census figures, somewhere around 60 percent of Cubans today self-identify as “white.”  But that percentage is probably much lower.  The discrepancy between facts and the Castro census is widely acknowledged…

So, the real truth is the majority of Cubans today are blacks or mulattoes.  Yet, despite the high percentage of Afro-Cubans in the population, nearly all of the top posts in Cuba’s oligarchy and in the Castro economic monopoly are held by whites.

A disproportionate number of Afro-Cubans live in the most dilapidated neighborhoods and in the worst housing…

A racist comment often used by Castro oligarchs to describe any machinery that works well is: “esto debe haberlo inventado un blanco.” (This must have been invented by a white person)

 

That’s one of the reasons I refuse to watch Danny Glover movies. Not only did he make $millions in movies glorifying guns as he’s all “Only the gov’t should have guns!”, he thinks Fidel, whose gov’t uses their monopoly on guns to be murderously commie, is a good guy. Fidel is a murderously horrible racist and fucking Glover acts as though I’m a racist.

I can take all the idiocy from every other Hollywood idiot, but Glover goes above and beyond the usual idiocy to agitate for a man who would kill him without a qualm or second thought if Glover were a resident of Cuba. Instead, he lives a life-style that 99.9999999999999999% of every human who ever lived could not even understand. Augustus called and said, “I wish I could live like Glover!”

 

Since China owns much of our Democratic media/entertainment political complex, we have to pretend that we don’t know that China is an empire that wants to expand. They do that by bribing local gov’ts (Like Obama’s for instance) to move in their own people and that pisses off Teh Peepul affected.

What happens when China sends a few million people to a country of 10 million? China will not even notice the loss but places like Panama are swamped.

 

Even though all of our fine political, social, moral and intellectual betters pretend otherwise, a good guy with a gun often beats a bad guy with a gun.

 

There’s a difference between some thug with a gun and someone who’s thought about what it means and is mentally prepared.

 

This one doesn’t fit, it’s what we all wish we could see.

Department of Veterans Affairs Phone Outreach Assistance Specialist Janice Edlers has been on hold with Comcast since 10 a.m., sources report.

“This is not just incredibly frustrating, it’s disrespectful and demoralizing,” said Edlers, who routinely leaves her phone off the hook in her cubicle in a Department of Veterans Affairs Call Center while she makes coffee, gets a snack, or texts with her boyfriend.

 

It would be better if it was an Obamacare hotline, but we all know our fine governmental betters don’t have to deal with that shit.

WARNING ADVISORY TO BORDER PATROL AGENTS IN RGV SECTOR

Recent events in Tamaulipas, Mexico, specifically in and around the city of Reynosa, pose a special risk to U.S. Border Patrol agents working in the region.

The Reynosa faction of the Mexican Gulf Cartel recently lost its leader and the group is engaging in open warfare with Mexican authorities and possibly with rival factions or other transnational criminal groups. Open source reports indicate gunbattles and use of grenades and other explosives in the fighting.

Border Patrol agents working the line in any station’s area of operations immediately across the largely open border from Reynosa, Mexico, are advised to employ extra caution in the performance of their duties. Stray rounds from firearms have previously injured U.S. law enforcement personnel on the border.

They had to worry about Obama’s gun running and now cartels, embolded and empowered by Obama’s porous borders, are now using hand grenades against American border agents.

And they still probably have the restrictive Rules of Engagement. I’m not saying they should be free-fire zones, but any threat should be treated quickly and overwhemingly. It’s unfair to them otherwise since they’re fighting people with fucking hand-grenades.

This is long, but it’s mesmerizing. The first coupla minutes are a little slow, but once he drops the first ball it gets very impressive.

If you want to take less time, here he is ‘juggling’ in a triangle.

 

That is freaky. There are times where it’s nearly impossible to see him catch the balls, they’re suddenly in his hand. Sometimes you can barely see him throw the ball, they’re just suddenly careening around the triangle. Weird.

This shows a few of the things he does. If you see the part with the torches, he is holding onto them firmly not spinning them in his palm.

 

He does stuff that will have you yelling at the screen, YOU CAN’T DO THAT! Seriously.

He sometimes plays music by juggling. I hadn’t seen this bit before, it’s a different triangle

 

I used to have Moschen In Motion on VHS, but I can’t find it. I’d like to get it on DVD. It was very cool.

Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain in 2012 turned over nearly $9 million in unspent funds from his failed 2008 presidential campaign to a new foundation bearing his name, the McCain Institute for International Leadership.

The institute is intended to serve as a “legacy” for McCain and “is dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, democracy and freedom.” It is a tax-exempt non-profit foundation with assets valued at $8.1 million and associated with Arizona State University…

Critics worry that the institute’s donors and McCain’s personal leadership in the organization’s exclusive “Sedona Forum” bear an uncanny resemblance to the glitzy Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) that annually co-mingled special interests and powerful political players in alleged pay-to-play schemes.

The institute has accepted contributions of as much as $100,000 from billionaire liberal activist-funder George Soros and from Teneo, a for-profit company co-founded by Doug Band, former President Bill Clinton’s “bag man.” Teneo has long helped enrich Clinton through lucrative speaking and business deals.

In addition, the institute has taken at least $100,000 from a Moroccan state-run company tied to repeated charges of worker abuse…also accepted at least $100,000 from the Pivotal Foundation, which was created by Francis Najafi … has in the last three years given $205,000 to the National Iranian-American Council (NIAC), which has been a vocal advocate for the Iranian nuclear deal the Obama administration negotiated.

 

Which deal McCain supposedly opposed. Jeffrey Immelt is on the board. You know, the ‘Republican’ head of GE who was such good friends with Obama.

With just 10 days to go until Illinois enters its third year without a budget, resulting in the state’s imminent downgrade to junk status and potentially culminating in a default for the state whose unpaid bills now surpass $15 billion, Democratic Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza issued a warning to Illinois Gov. Rauner and other elected officials on Tuesday, saying in a letter that her office has “very serious concerns” it may no longer be able to guarantee “timely and predictable payments” for some core services.

As we saw a few years ago when they gave out IOUs for lottery winners, they’re still having problem paying out on the most profitable ‘gambling’ deal there is.

Illinois is grappling with a full-fledged financial crisis and not even the lottery is safe – with Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner warning the state is entering “banana republic” territory.

You know how bookies go broke? They get a big hit they weren’t expecting, the lottery doesn’t have that problem as the payout goes up with pay-in, not odds.

The other ways they go broke are if their protection money is really high or the boss’ son comes in and takes the receipts.

In Illinois, they have both of those problems.

And let’s not forget that in the dog days of the Obama administration, alarmist scientists were so desperate to pooh pooh the “Pause” in the run up to the Paris climate talks that they concocted a junk science paper – now the subject of a federal investigation – which used dodgy data to try to airbrush the Pause out of history.

A scientific consensus has emerged among top mainstream climate scientists that “skeptics” or “lukewarmers” were not long ago derided for suggesting — there was a nearly two-decade long “hiatus” in global warming that climate models failed to accurately predict or replicate.A new paper, led by climate scientist Benjamin Santer, adds to the ever-expanding volume of “hiatus” literature embracing popular arguments advanced by skeptics, and even uses satellite temperature datasets to show reduced atmospheric warming.

More importantly, the paper discusses the failure of climate models to predict or replicate the “slowdown” in early 21st century global temperatures, which was another oft-derided skeptic observation.

“In the early twenty-first century, satellite-derived tropospheric warming trends were generally smaller than trends estimated from a large multi-model ensemble,” reads the abstract of Santer’s paper, which was published Monday.

Can you study the climate and still notice reality? I didn’t think that was allowed.

What’s interesting, though, is Santer and his co-authors say their paper is “unlikely to reconcile the divergent schools of thought regarding the causes of differences between modeled and observed warming rates.”

Translation: This ain’t gonna change shit.

Not that I expected it to, I just like watching lefties notice reality before disappearing or learning not to go against the Consensus.

Caballero Endgame!

So I heard from the latest mechanic. Surprisingly, he says the same stuff my buddy in VA says. That makes me pretty happy.

So apparently, this engine is not made with emissions in mind. Now, I should have asked, but I figured an engine was an engine and the stuff you strapped on afterward made it pass emissions. Nope. I’m not sure how upset I should be considering that I told the guy at Summit it was a 79, I spoke to them because I figured they’d be able to know what questions I should ask. Apparently asking me if my 1979 car had to pass emissions was not something a Summit guy was supposed to ask me. That one I knew the answer to I just didn’t know I should bring emissions up specifically.

It needs a new camshaft to be able to pass emissions plus a tweak on the carb. I can drive it for the summer, cross my fingers, and put my convertible under an awning that way.

Or, in door number 2…. I can put in a ‘period’ Chevy small block for the same cost and have an engine to store for who knows how long until I find a car to put it in. I can drive the Caballero for the summer this way as well. That way I also get to relive the awesome experience of putting an engine in a car!!!!!!! I’m not sure if I could survive that.

Or, I can park the Caballero, drive the Mustang and wait until it cools off and get something pre-67 to put the engine in. The guy said he might be able to tweak it to pass 67-68 emissions, but maybe not.

Which isn’t a deal-breaker. I’d actually love to put it in some 40s Chevy if it fits and upgrade the suspension but a 64-66 GM could be pretty cool too.

If I switch the engine to something pre-66 the car could eventually be worth well over $20k, if I keep the Caballero it’ll never be worth more than $15k, in 2017 dollars.

I can keep the old cam and put it back in for a lot less since I won’t have to buy a cam or lifters so I can do that and still change cars.

Changing the cam means I’ll lose HP  overall but gain lower end HP, so it’ll have less HP overall but it’ll be faster off the line. It’s a top-end car as it stands.

I’m leaning toward changing the cam. Get the whole thing over with just drive the damn car. The other ways involve me having to put an engine in a car soon. Since he’ll have the engine out he can put the stuff in order like the wiring and the vacuum lines when he puts it back in.

When I move away from the greater Phoenix metropolitan area I won’t have to pass emissions so in a year or so my options will open up dramatically. If I lived about 5 miles east I wouldn’t have to get emissions tested. Oh well. I can’t “move” there now cuz it failed. Apparently, someone thought of that scam...totally honest way to get a car registered.

 

Since I have a post just sitting here, let’s see what happened after my last post.

On April 4, 2017, the US Senate passed Senate Resolution 118, “Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States”. The resolution was drafted by a Muslim organization, EmgageUSA…

The resolution refers to hate crimes against Muslims, Jews, African-Americans, Hindus, and Sikhs and was sponsored by Senator Kamala Harris and co-sponsored by Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Dianne Feinstein, and Senator Susan Collins.

On April 6, almost the exact same text was introduced as House Resolution H.Res. 257, “Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States”. A House Resolution can be reintroduced as legislation.

They’re just resolutions, but both the House and the Senate passed one.

They both say this

Whereas, in 2015, hate crimes targeting Muslims in the United States increased by 67 percent,

51.3 percent were anti-Jewish.
22.2 percent were anti-Islamic (Muslim).
4.4 percent were anti-Catholic….

52.7 percent were motivated by anti-Black or African American bias.
18.2 percent stemmed from anti-White bias.
9.4 percent were classified as anti-Hispanic or Latino bias.
…
3.3 percent resulted from anti-Asian bias.

 

and 2014

58.2 percent were anti-Jewish.
16.3 percent were anti-Islamic (Muslim).
6.1 percent were anti-Catholic…

Notice the EXPLOSION of anti-Asian hate! 2/3 increase and I haven’t seen shit about it. Why isn’t anybody talking about that? Does our media hate them?

Also notice the HUGE INCREASE of anti-Catholic hate-crimes! It increased more than both Muslim and Jewish hate crimes and yet, there’s no mention of protecting Catholics in the House and Senate resolutions.

Had a decent time in Vegas. Had fun at the events, did okay Friday night (Lost my money slowly) and badly Saturday night (lost my money quickly).

It was the first time I’ve stayed in a high end casino, I used to go the Flamingo.

I was not impressed. I spent time in the Palazzo part of the Venetian and the Wynn. The Wynn is huge and confusing. Saturday I was looking for the place with the wedding and nobody had heard of it, luckily I got close and found it on a small map in the area.

Everything was ridiculously overexpensive, the service was very good but I would rather do stuff for myself and blow a $couple hundred more at the tables. My buddy took all the stuff out of the honor bar and put some food he’d had delivered into it. He put it all back when we left. They have weight sensors so I got charged $350 for the whole, damn thing. I hopefully took care of it. We’ll see.

So Russia is apparently having buyer’s remorse.

Russia has sent out a warning to the US-led coalition in Syria that it will view all aircraft as targets after a Syrian fighter was downed.

The coalition attacked the SU-22 after it launched a strike on US-backed rebels in Raqqa province.

Moscow said that it would no longer cooperate with the US in order to prevent air accidents.

Why, you’d think they would prefer a POTUS who would have continued Obama’s strategy of weakening America at home and abroad!?!?!?!

I will say I’d much rather get into a war with Russia in eastern Europe. Unlike the Middle East, we’d have allies we can trust there. Cuz Israel has to sit out any war not involving them being invaded. Because of tolerance.

I’d quibble that we’re getting a fishy story from the media, we’re not getting anything from the media. I watched bunch of coverage yesterday and all we got was about how great the crew did, how the captain was lucky to be alive and the ship will take a long time to get fixed.

What was fishy was what we aren’t being told. Which is anything.

Under no circumstances should a US Navy vessel possibly be damaged by a container ship at sea. Multiple systems exist to prevent this. Even CNN is noticing how little we know about the catastrophe that took the lives of seven sailors and almost caused a powerful warship to founder…

If there is any substance to this – that the ACX Crystal disabled protective systems and rammed the Fitzgerald at high speed aimed at crtical facilities (evident from the damage)

Exactly. RTWT, it’s very good paranoia. The type that makes sense and is backed up by evidence, history and common sense. That’s a wonder!

Doing the search for “finsbury mosque terrorists” made me wonder if the paranoia about google messing with searches is true. Almost all the articles you see in the searches are about how great a place it is. Journolist is on the job and/or google is messing with searches.

Jeez, would Google risk a company worth $billions over their leftist religion? While I applaud the idiocy, why the hell don’t they just tithe?

Seattle gun tax failure? Firearm sales plummet, violence spikes after law passes

When the City of Seattle passed a tax on all sales of guns and ammunition, the measure was hailed as a way to defray the rising costs of gun violence.

But since the tax took effect, those costs have only risen as gun violence in the city has surged. And the tax has apparently brought in much less than city leaders projected it would

What you have to understand is the reason given for gun-grabbing is never the real reason so I’m gonna say it was a success.

Why?

What did the law do?

It puts a $25 tax on every firearm sold in the city and up to 5 cents per round of ammunition.

Let’s see if there’s a clue as to what the real reason might have been!

But Mike Coombs, owner of Outdoor Emporium, the last large gun dealer left in Seattle, …

…said storewide, sales are down 20 percent while gun sales have plummeted 60 percent.

“I’ve had to lay off employees because of this,” Coombs said. “It’s hurting us, it’s hurting our employees.”

Employees at the Big 5 sporting goods stores in Seattle also report anemic gun sales…

Surprise! So they’re getting icky gun dealers out of their town while jerking around legal owners. That was the purpose of the bill so…Success!

VDH asks, Can A Divided America Survive?

 

Not well, but that’s what we’ve been doing for a long time. It’s just becoming far too obvious to ignore that we’re so very divided and one side has most of the political and media power.

I will say that the people who support the side with the political and media power are very angry they were thwarted and keep losing elections. As we’ve been seeing, they’re aren’t taking it quietly.

They used the word, “bourgeoisie” non-ironically. I’m finding it hard to express how hilarious I find that. I use it all the time. When someone wants me to do something I don’t want to do I say, “Doing that is so bourgeois!”

The heartening part is that, while they’re getting all butthurt and violent, they’re mostly not very scary. I’m not saying I want him to have done better, but that guy who was firing at Republicans was a crappy shot. If it had been a gun nut going after Congresscritters the results would have been far different.

New strategy in Afghanistan!

Pentagon officials are hopeful new equipment and training will better prepare local militia groups, otherwise known as the “Taliban,” in sustaining the fight against a corrupt regime while simultaneously taking the fight to ISIS in Afghanistan, sources confirmed today.

“Simply put, a new plan is needed to create a sustainable and capable force that can bring security back to Afghanistan, and root out groups like ISIS,” said Gen. John Nicholson, the top American commander in Afghanistan. “And we think we finally found a plan that will work.”

 

I’m not sure if I’m happy it’s satire.

I’m all fer shaking up that bucket of scorpions by giving them all small arms, even up to some mortars. Nothing big, just some smaller stuff.

Then make every 100th shell faulty so it blows up the tube. Along with any jihadis within about 10–30 yards. That would be funny.

The funniest part, for me at least, is that if I had posted this a couple years ago and said it was the Wash Post you would have believed me.  Hell, I’m surprised Obama didn’t do it.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if Trump got our folks out and did that. After advertising how there’s a shrine 70 miles outside Kabul where Mohamed once washed his hair. Let’s get ISIS and Iran fighting Pakistan and the Taliban in Afghanistan over some pile of rocks with a pool.
