It’s Time To Face Facts: Obama’s Presidency Was A Failure!

The closing arguments for the Obama years are arriving, and they aren’t helping the outgoing president.

He then goes on to list all the things that Obama made worse.

But the real way to figure out if he was a failure depends on what he was trying to accomplish, doesn’t it?

He has the bureaucracy, indeed pretty much all of the non-military branches weaponized for Democrats (Comey will replace the Russians as the reason Hillary lost I figure, couldn’t happen to a slimier piece of shit). He replaced so many generals  that the military is more worried about diversity, celebrating non-traditional gender identity and saving Gaia than keeping our enemies from killing us.

He (well, Pelosi and Reid) managed to get Obamacare, that the GOP is trying to figure out how to perform failure theater over. He flooded the country with people antipathetic to the whole idea of America as a bastion of freedom, aided and abetted by a GOP that calls me racist for being against people breaking our laws, much of the “elites” have even more contempt for America than the immigrants and they’re in a better (worse) position to enact their desires on us and they’re not going down easily.

Trump is a good start, but it’s only a beginning. We’re going to have to keep fighting. As soon as we stop paying attention, they’ll start their shit. The establishment pricks in the GOP are busy working on whopping up a quick impeachment. They can work with Pence. The media will help them.

Luckily Trump is pretty well immunized against their OUTRAGE!!!!!! because they turned it up to 11 way too soon.

So did Obama fail?

If you don’t like a strong, free America, I’d say it’s a qualified “No”. We’re diminished in the world and fractured at home, ripe for demagogue pols to exploit.

Qualified because Trump is a (mostly life-long Democrat) demagogue pol that was raised by the fracture.

The other problem is that we have troops everywhere we need them to kick some ass and I don’t see Trump/Mattis/Tillerson being all nation-buildy after they get done kicking some asses.

Also, despite lefty hyperventilating, Trump is a fairly milquetoast right wing pol.

I’d expect the next to be much more Jacksonian, hopefully we can keep the racist/totalitarian shit out, but (s)he won’t be ready to play the role of good loser to our fine lefty betters. But that won’t be Obama’s fault, that’ll be the fault of the people who are going to fight to stay our overlords, ruling without our consent or aggreement.

 

If you’re a fan of America and the Constitution, I’d say this is much more your opinion on Obama’s ‘success’.

 

This is a bunch of actors singing I Will Survive in light of Trump’s upcoming inauguration. They’re not sure if they will survive, but they’re going to soldier through despite all the trials and tribulations of living in a Malibu beach house!

 

What makes it for me is most of these super-serious, super-actors have to read their super tough lines from a page in their hands. Such difficult lyrics as “I will survive.” The hardest one was, “I kept thinking that I could never live without you by my side” and she couldn’t take her eyes off the page.
