WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!!
Let’s find out how!
Let’s have some mideast madness, it’s always fun and nobody gets hurt. Wait, check that. It’s never fun and babies get killed.
Saudi terrorist dies of “kidney failure” (lead poisoned kidney maybe? V) in Lebanese custody.
Hezbollah is going after Saudis.
J Effin Kerry at a press conferece. I saw part of this and expected to see this bit all over the place.
Iraq is fighting al Quaeda (now called ISIS) in Fallujah and Ramadi (just like we did), and Kerry said this,
This is their fight,
Seriously? Not our fight? Obama’s given up on the Wo(S)T?
Speaking of Kerry, another drudgetapostion.
State Dept page on Myanmar’s Independence day.
ABC story about a leeeeetle correction.
The State Department says its use of the name “Myanmar”…doesn’t reflect a change in U.S. policy.
…the U.S. government officially still refers to the country as Burma
It’s amateur hour the whole way down.
Remember that explosion in an apt. building in Minnesota?
More stuff is coming out.
At a news conference Thursday afternoon, the Minneapolis fire chief said the fire in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood was most likely caused by a natural gas leak.
Oh okay. then.
“We had no natural gas in the area,” said Rebecca Virden, basing her information on CenterPoint’s own investigation and testing in the area.
If it were attributed to natural gas, Virden added, “the roof would come off, the walls would come out.”
It appears to me that everybody involved in this, from those writing the stories to the officials investigating it, think it’s a work accident but they’re afraid of the Backlash Against Muslims that never seems to happen. That makes me think it was a work accident.
No mention of the mosque in this story.
They do have this little tidbit that no other stories mention.
The apartments above it were apparently all occupied by single men, most of them East African immigrants,
Well now, that’s an interesting tidbit in a story about a mysterious explosion, huh?
If it was a work accident, we’ll know soon enough because there will be more booms if it was.
When a story so perfectly illustrates what I believe, I become skeptical. This is one of those times, but it feels right so here it is.
demonstrates how the GOP’s big money, or corporate culture in Washington results in all but one-party rule, as liberal and moderate Republicans team up with Democrats and leftists to subvert the will of the GOP base.
I’ve been writing about the We’re Better Than You Party for years now so this is not just plausible, but what I expect.
A little ignorant hate from US News and World Report(Hot Air Link) with HAs response
How many key decisions have been made by the Supreme Court on a 6-3, Catholic/Jewish basis?
Yeah, about that…..
Listen, the most dangerous religion right now is leftism and its offshoot, global warmmongering.
My prediction on Hitchcock’s Holocaust documentary? It will just further prove that any Germans who say they didn’t know what was going on were fucking lying sacks of shit.
Veeshir pats himself on the back for noticing reality.
Federal judge rules Chicago ban on handgun sales unconstitutional
Veeshir on Say Uncle’s site when Chicago lost in court that started this.
A month or 12 late, they’ll pass another law that says no guns for you. That will be appealed. They’ll lose.
A month or 12 late they’ll pass another….
Wash, rinse, bail your cousin out of jail for thinking the law matters, repeat.
Chicago Machine Politicians are nothing if not transparent and predictable.
A nice story about a family who escaped from a commie regime before they lost everything.
At midnight on December 31, I not only drank a toast to the new year, but also to finally getting all my business operations out of Ventura County, California.
Never have I operated in a more difficult environment. Ventura County combines a difficult government environment with a difficult employee base with a difficult customer base.
Read why, the regulations are onerous, ignorant and useless. This is effed up.
A local attorney held regular evening meetings with my employees to brainstorm new ways the could sue our company under arcane California law. For example, we went through three iterations of rules and procedures trying to comply with California break law and changing “safe” harbors supposedly provided by California court decisions. We only successfully stopped the suits by implementing a fingerprint timekeeping system and making it an automatic termination offense to work through lunch.
That’s all about teh fucked up. Don’t work too hard or we’ll have to fire you because of CA law. How fucked up is that?
Update! Forgot this link.
Want more fucked up? A Veeshir Vearless Vrediction!
Via the Emperor, we see that Obama appointed one of lawyers of that cop-murderer, Mumia Abu who cares?, to head the civil rights something or other (who cares, under Obama it has nothing to do with helping people get civil rights)
So my Vrediction?
Obama pardons that shithead on the way out the door.
Now back to your regularly scheduled post!
Three ending cool stories today.
First, this is very cool.
Neat, huh? There are 20 or more. (26 pages, some are repeats).
I do wonder if they’re taking them or bringing them.
I know a bunch of people who believe this.
Over the weekend, Paul Hellyer, former Canadian defense minister, went on television and declared that not only do aliens exist but that they walk amongst us and are responsible for some of our modern technology. Among these tech gifts are the microchip, LED light and Kevlar vest.
So, Men in Black was a documentary?
I do wish it were true. Then, we try to piss off the aliens and maybe they go to the asteroid belt and bring back a SMOD for us.
And via Cold Fury (the rest were either from the usual news aggregators or I just looked for them)your dose of awesome.
We all saw the story about WWII fighter pilot Bill Overstreet, the guy who flew under the Eifel Tower chasing a fucking Nazi. Well, that was like the third coolest story at best.
The extreme change in pressure (from chasing a descending ME-109V) caused his eyes to swell shut, blinding him.
Gawrsh! Did you die Mr Overstreet?
“That was only one of the many occasions on which I met my death, an experience which I don’t hesitate strongly to recommend.”
So what was it like for Harry Joe Bay Resident with this guy around?
a flight of four to the Golden Gate Bridge and do loops around it. You know we were having fun! Complaints came in and charges were placed. Jack Meyers, our legal officer, told me years later that he was able to hold up action on bushels of charges, and took most home with him after the war. We liked to buzz farmers, sunbathers or anything…
So why wasn’t he up on charges?
Years later, I asked Don Graham why we got by with so much. He replied, “If you were picking pilots for combat, who would you pick? The fellows who flew straight and level or the ones who pushed the envelope and tested the limits of their planes?” “
To quote R-rated Mr Freeze, Eggs-fucking-zactly.
I edited some stuff for spelling.
